Bought this sunshade to fit my older Nikon Monarch 3.3-10x44AO scope. Optics Planet rep and Nikon rep both said it would fit, but it does not fit. It is made for a 44mm objective lens with side focus. Apparently there is not one available to fit my scope.

42 mm. Nikon Rifle scope Sunshade

Fit, function and appearance are all you could ever want. It matches my Monarch 3, 2.5 - 10 X 42 matte BDC perfectly and also fits the Vector flip cover snug but still not too difficult to remove when the shade is not required. You won't regret buying this genuine Nikon product.

Works as intended

This is a great sunshade for the Nikon Monarch 2 rifle scope. When screwed on the scope it leaves a small gap. It would be 5 stars if it fit flush but it still does the job and Optics Planet has the lowest price and best customer service.

it is Nikon quality and basically does everything it is supposed to do and Looks good and fits very well on my Nikon Monarch III 4X16X50mm.... Good quality for good price and highly recommended. It feels more solid than the aftermarket copies that I have purchesed

A must for shooter and hunter

I put this sunshade on my Nikon monarch 2.5 X 10 x 42. Perfect fit and awesome appearance. I put also my flip cover cap Nikon on and that completes the looking. Highly recommended this product and remember that: on a Nikon riflescope add only a Nikon product.

Texas sunset

The sunshade works great on those bright Texas sunsets. Hunting out of a deer blind you don't have the room to keep your scope far enough inside the blind to shade it so the Sun shade makes up the difference.

The sun shade fits like a charm. ordering was easy and shipment was quick. I actually tried ordering off of amazon first however they kept shipping the wrong shade. Hugh waste of time. Optics planet got it right.

If you need a sunshade for your Nikon scope...

this one fits. It's the same color as the rest of the scope (goody). It says "Nikon" on it (if you're into that sort of thing). It's basically a piece of light, threaded pipe, that shades the objective lens from the sun. There, 200+ words.

I bought this for my AR 15 for my Nikon scope. I absolutely love it, the shooting range that I go to late in the day your shooting into the sunset. I actually bought two one for my 3X9X50 Nikon and one for my 3X9X40 Nikon. Works great.
