Great scope.....very clear...!

This is my 4th Nikon scope and i have had good luck with all of them.... very clear and hold up to what ever caliber rifle you put them on. great scope for the right price..... this last one is going on a .308... i have the others on a 7mm mag, a 30-06, and a 7mm-08...

Clear scope

The scope arrived just as described, looking thru it, it's very bright and clear. The scope doesnt get blurry when taken to 10x. I'm very pleased with it. The stainless Steel finish is exactly what I wanted, to match the raw aluminum finish on my AR build.

GREAT SCOPE

I was looking for a new scope and a friend recommended Nikon because of the quality of the clear glass. I installed the scope on a Wilson Combat Tactical Custom in 300 Blackout. I went to the indoor range ( 50 yds.) and within 5 minutes I had the scope and rifle shooting 7/8 inch 10 shot groups. I am very pleased with the scope and Optics Planet. Can't wait to shoot outdoors at 100 and 200 yards.I would recommend Nikon.

Nikon Prostate 5 2.5x10 x40

This scope is very clear and good in low light. It was easy to sight in and the scope cover that comes with it works well and stays on with the rubber expansion bands.
The BDC reticle is very sharp. The Prostaff 5 is well worth the purchase over the standard Prostaff.

Great choice

This is my second Nikon prostaff scope. The first one was a 3x9x50 that I use on my 30-06. This 2.5x10x40 I put on my 45-70. The clarity is better than my first one and the zoom even though they are close, is much better. The prostaff 5 is better than the reg prostaff.

really nice scope!

Nikon quality lenses with a reticle that I really like. Have yet to use it but all looks good for the learning curve.It looks great on my 336ss in silver with Weaver see through scope mounts, minor adjustment needed to raise the scope a couple millimeters since it's a 40mm objective in order to obtain full clearance for iron sights.

Great scope for the money

This is the first Nikon scope I have owned but I must say that I am quite impressed with the clarity and light collection of a 40mm scope. Bought it for my wife's hunting rifle as the scope that was on her gun when we bought it was Barska junk and this little Nikon really impressed me. I have a Leupold VX-3 and it is on another level, but the Nikon isn't far behind.

Very good scope. Nikon makes a great product and with free shipping you can't beat it. I have a nikon p223 on my ar, and put this on my 308. I really like the clarity and the eye relief is amazing. Optics planet was very easy to deal with and the shipping was quick

First Nikon purchase

Researched a lot of reviews of other brands before ordering the Nikon. Have a Bushnell on my Remington that came as a package and works flawless. This time I would be sighting in myself on my Ruger mini 6.8mm spc. First shot (100yds) got me on paper then a few more shot as close to bulls eye as I could expect with the shooting rest I was using. Very bright and clear optics, easy to use turrets with zero rest. Only wish it would have came with flip up lens covers.
