I've had this scope for a year Now. its the most affordable scope at the time over other companies. The Glass is Super Clear. its one amazing Scope. Huge Fan of NIkon BLack X1000 SFP
Real Deal return my Vortex Diamond Back to get these over all they were light. Not Comparable to Nikon X1000
Pros:
- clear optics
- Amazing all metal, quality!
- clear rugged

This scope is everything I’d hoped it would be, and more. Adjustment is easy, with plenty of positive feedback. Initial use at 50 yards at an indoor range. New rifle, new scope. Got it dialed in on the 4th grouping, hung a new target and then obliterated a quarter-sized bullseye in no time. Can’t wait to try it at the longer distances for which it’s made.

The only thing I dislike about this scope is Nikon released a FFP for $150 more right after I purchased it. The glass is clear, it tracks true, and it holds zero. The zero stop feature of this scope works perfectly. I caught this scope on sale for black friday for around $550...an absolute steal for what you get. I highly recommend this scope!

This is an excellent scope. Easy adjustments and knobs big enough to manipulate even with gloves. The lighted reticle makes low light conditions easy to shoot in. I have this on a Ruger RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor and love it. Te glass is crystal clear as you would expect from Nikon. I highly recommend this scope
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Target shooting
- load development, zeroing your rifle

I needed a long range scope for my new Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua Magnum, and wanted something with a good warranty, as I knew the scope was going to take a beating with the recoil. I researched online and at multiple stores, looking through the optics and evaluating price and value. In the store, I looked at a $1300 scope to compare to the Nikon 6-24X50 X1000, and after looking through the more expensive scope, and then comparing it to the Nikon, the difference in clarity and focus of the Nikon over the more expensive scope was astounding. I could not get over the feeling that the Nikon was way undervalued, and decided on the MOA version x1000 6-24x50 model. After bore sighting, I was able to get under 1 MOA at 100 yards in just a few shots. I then went back to my 30-06 with x 4x9 Nikon BDC scope, looking at the same target, and decided right there to buy another 6-24x50. My old eyes love the clear magnification of the X1000, and my shooting is now much better.
My only gripe is the MOA version of the 6-24X50 X1000 is NOT in the SPOT ON app yet for Android.
Pros:
- value
- Clarity
- cost
- ease in installation
- Ease in deployment use

Comparing the price range of US Optics, Trijicon, Steiner, or NightForce, the price of this new Nikon Black X1000 riflescope is either half, a quarter, or an eight of the price of these other fine optics.
Surprisingly, this one was made pretty good. Before making the decision to drop the penny on this precision scope, I had read other reviews including of one from an ex-Marine Sniper. It was recommended for people that are looking for great glass with low budget in mind. It is no US Optics, but it works wonders...Most scopes nowadays that come cheap are made in China. This one is made in the Philippines just like other great Nikon products. Hence probably the reason for the affordable price tag. But if you didn't know where it was made and if it was priced more than double, you would have probably imagined it was made in Japan due to the quality.
If you're under budget, I suggest go to your local gun-store and see if they have one that you can look at. Seeing is believing... Bring your hard earned bills too, cause you might end up purchasing it. =)
Pros:
- Affordable
- great clear glass
- Looks awesome on the Ruger RPR
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Precision shooting
- plinking distant targets
