Glowing dog collar works great on short-haired dogs
I am a professional dog walker and bought 2 collars to walk my black Giant schnauzers and a black border collie at night. It works great for the groomed schnauzers, but became completely invisible under the border collie's fur.

Nite Ize Dawg Nylon Dog Collar
I am very pleased with this collar. I generally walk my dog after the sun starts setting because it is so hot in Alabama during the summer and this collar makes me feel a little bit safer when walking along the road. My only request from the manufacturer would be to have more specific sizing. I got a medium for my fairly slender yellow lab and it just barely fits. I would like it to be slightly larger so that it would be less covered by her fur. I would get a large but the review I read said that I would have to cut off so much of the fiberoptics to make it fit that there wouldn't be much illumination left. It works very well, but maybe they need to have an in-between size.

I was attracted to this style collar. I use their strip markers for running and thought it work well for my dog.

Best night time protection for your dog
Excellent night visibility. Combine it with the lighter leash and it does it's job very well. Routinely get comments on how well it works and how visible it makes my dogs.
