The other reviewers apparently didn't actually know what they were purchasing. It is not a standard mil-spec receiver, so do not expect handguards that rely on mil-spec dimensions for anti-rotation tabs to fit. This is an extruded upper, not forged or billet, and as such it is intentionally meant ...

chunk of lead
nice looking but,,,, twice as heavy as a palmetto slick side and almost twice the weight of a stripped aero standard upper,,,, very disappointed in this lead sinker for weight!!!!!! finish was good butb heavy as a boat anchor,,, i bought this for a light weight build ,,,lol
built like a tank.
This type of receiver is very bulky, very heavy it's also built like a tank. If you don't want that then don't buy this. I'm going to hang a 24 in 6 mm Arc heavy Target Barrel on it but that's what I bought it for. The Finish looks great and it looks very well made.

Haters will Hate!!
If you think you are getting a Mil-Spec lightweight upper look away and move on. This is meant as a competition upper! I am patiently awaiting mine because every time a site gets a batch they sell out. That says it all! If you use this upper for it's proper function, you will be delighted!

- none in it's proper role!
