Hard to beat Nosler ammo, great accuracy!hard hitting! Better long distance shooting than 55 grain, works better on the larger critters. Would buy more, price is a little high but worth it. Price and availability should improve soon.

Sub MOA for sure

by Ray, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on January 17, 2026
Great ammo that can get you Sub-MOA results with the right setup and skills. It was consistent and had several keyholes. (For the ammo/long range nerds) 2461fps average with a 20.4 SD in a 18” 1/8 twist SPR
Pros:
  • performance
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Target shooting

decently priced 77 grain

by D C, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 15, 2022
I’ve been shooting this stuff through my mk12 mod h build and it’s been accurate and consistent. I’ve shot about 500 round and a majority of my groups have been sub MOA. This is probably the cheapest 77grain you will find online after your discount and free shipping with OpticsPlanet
Best Used for:
  • Long range shooting
  • Match shooting or Hunting.

great ammo not so great price

by David McDermott, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 28, 2022
Very accurate. Very consistent. very clean. Optics planet has raised the price from 1.12 to 1.45. Budsgunshop.com has same ammo for 1.11 + 15.00 shipping. still much cheaper. shame on you OP. Used to be my go to ammo supplier. Some ammo up to 2x the cost of over a dozen other companies. Though optics and gear have good pricing. You have lost me as an ammo buyer
Pros:
  • top 5 heavy OTM
Cons:
  • price way to high
Best Used for:
  • target/hunting/HD

Top 5 heavy OTM ammo

by David McDermott, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 26, 2022
Very accurate, very consistent. Exellent fragmentation/penetration in ballistics gel testing. Only negative is the price. Jumped from 1.12 per/rnd to 1.45 over night. was 1 of the few ammos that were priced with other online stores. Most ammo in stock at Optics Planet is double the price of everyone else. They let you use your 7% review discount for ammo. Not any more. Can find this ammo cheaper at a dozen other places. Great prices for optics, and gear, but look elsewhere if you want decent ammo prices.
Pros:
  • 1 of the best otm ammos on the market
Cons:
  • 1 of the worst prices on the market
Best Used for:
  • target/hunting/HD

Highly rated ammo you will find all over internet and youtube. You can expect Sub 1 moa from a 1:14 twist, lever action rifle, or a 1:7 or 8. Every blast cap detonates. No scrapes or dings on ammo case. Perfect.
Pros:
  • accuracy
Cons:
  • Unless benchrest used, not much point.
Best Used for:
  • Target practice long range

  • relability

One of my most accurate ammo, for both my 1/8 and 1/7 twist barrels. Great price, free shipping.Have had 1-1.5 moa groupings, at 200 yds. Have only shot out to 300 max. Stays consistent, goes bang every time.
Pros:
  • Accurate
Cons:
  • does not group well with slower twists
Best Used for:
  • Target/Hunting

Sub MOA all day

by Shooter Mc Gavin, from TX, United States Written on August 26, 2021
Averaging just under an inch at 100 yards with my Zev Technologies Core Elite 16” 416R 1:7 twist shooting prone off sandbags. Pretty sure i could get it tighter if i trained more and bought more of this wonderful ammunition.

Pretty accurate

by Matt, from SC, United States Written on June 28, 2021
With this ammo I was able to get 1.5MOA 3 round groups at 100 yards off a bipod with my PSA 18in SS .223 wylde ar15. I'm pretty sure you could get down lower hand feeding, shooting off a bench, using a bolt action, or just being a better shot in general.
Pros:
  • Accurate
Cons:
  • Expensive
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting
