exactly what it says
this is a excellent product. fit and finish is exactly as it should be. For shorter barrel it holds a good group. the matte stainless finish adds a good contrast to your custom build. You are getting a quality barrel.
Probably the best all around barrel on the market for the price
It's a Noveske Barrel. That sentence alone should impart a feeling of reverence in the presence of greatness. Is that hyperbole? No. They punch above their weight, and always deliver consistency.
It's accurate, well made and at 11.5, resides in the goldilocks zone of ar applications. It's slightly heavier than the average 11.5, but you really, really want it that way.
No barrel issues, even under heavy course of fire. It's got about 3k rounds on it at this point, and I think it might shoot better than new.
I followed the included instructions on barrel break-in. After 30 + years of shooting and building AR's, I can't think of anything in the AR world that impresses me these days quite as much as the Noveske barrels.
While the accuracy is more than acceptable with range quality 55gr's, I've found the best results from 100-300 with 77gr pills.

Awesome barrel!
I used the Noveske 14.5 afghan barrel for my first AR build. A little pricey but worth it if you factor in the gas block, gas tube and pins. Used Black Hills mk262 77 gr OTM rounds and got an amazing 1/2 inch group. Couldn’t be happier. Installation was a bit of a pain. The gas block uses a set screw and dowel pin to hold in place. It…is…a…tight…fit. My pin came with some coating on it. I had to polish it off and take some fine sandpaper to the pin. Even after that, heating the gas block and leaving the pin in the freezer, it was still a very tight fit. But eventually got it on. Bomb proof. If you’re looking to squeeze the most accuracy from an AR, I think these barrels are amazing!

Optics Planet Does It Again!
Great, hard to find product at a great price! Barrel is very accurate and quality is what you would expect with Noveske. I would highly recommend Noveske barrels for anyone that wants to wring out that last bit of accuracy from AR even when limited on barrel length.

Noveske CQB 10.5
Not sure why noveske stopped making a 11.5" barrel, but that's a separate issue. This is my second Noveske barrel, and their fit/finish is top notch. It's a pricey barrel and you're partly paying for the name, so I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. It's nice that it comes with a gas block, but I am ditching it for an adjustable anyways.
