High quality machining on this. I like it. The texturing is perfect in my opinion. Unfortunately it doesn't work in my Juggernaut, billet receiver...their JT-15. If you have a Juggernaut receiver, don't waste your time, the machining on the receiver simply won't allow room for it. Not even close. It does work fine on my Aero receivers, however. Overall very nice quality, and I'd buy one again; just not for a billet receiver.

I was putting together a rifle to use my training classes. I wanted students to easily be able to recognize the controls. That is to say not the same black color as the upper and lower receiver. The first issue I encountered was no one manufacture made all the components I wanted to replace In the red or blue color that I was looking for. The second issue at least in the case of Oden WORK the extended mag release and safety select lever aren’t the same shade of blue. Now that I’ve installed the The extended magazine release. I realize it’s either pour manufactured or a poor design when pressing on the extended portion the piece that would’ve been the magazine release button cants, Causing it to bind with the lower receiver. You wind up having to push the non-extended portion of the magazine release. I suppose there’s a remote possibility that my low receiver is not within manufacturer specifications, which is causing the difficulty in either case I will be returning this one.

2 minute install, puts the pad right where you need it. Might want to blue locktite the screws just in case. In general, stuff from this maker is pretty good.

I did not buy this because I needed it, although it does make the button easier to find. I got it because it makes the guns look nicer. Fifty years ago I was using my extra cash to make my Camaro look better. Now I'm spiffing up my AR's.

This release is larger, higher profile and very easy to reach. It requires a good amount of pressure to release the magazine, so even though it is higher profile and easier to reach, there is little chance of releasing the magazine by mistake. I have tested this in drills at home and at the range, and I am pleased with its functionality. Further, I also like to use a BAD lever on my AR rifles, and this release positions well with the lever and the trigger so all three are in a nice orbit of my trigger finger.

This is a well made perfectly fitted mag release extension. Top notch quality fit and finish. I highly recommend this item to anyone wanting a good mag extension. Odin Works products have not disappointed my yet.

The odin works xmr mag release is awesome! I have small hands, and this helps quite a good bit with mag changes. The mag release feels great so far and seems like it will hold up for a long time. I am definitely gonna add these to my other rifles.

If you have a shorter than average trigger finger (for right handed shooters) and you want to be able to reach the magazine release without having to break your grip, this is a must have accessory. I have one on both my M4E1 and my M5E1.308. The FDE finish is a very close match to the Magpul FDE Cerakote of Aero Precision receivers. If you are using it on a large frame AR-10 you may need the Odin AR-10 release button for additional frame clearance.

This extended mag release Gen 1 is my favorite and most useful AR upgrade. It’s easy to change out mags and isn’t too rough on my finger. It’s grippy and big enough to be just right. I really recommend the Gen 1 vs the Gen 2 and 3.
