I'm upping my review to 4 stars. After looking at it for a bit I decided to chuck up the barrel nut in the lathe and bore .016 out of the ID. It now fits over the 1.050 diameter stainless bull barrel.

Great looking piece. Maybe I should have researched a bit more. It will not fit over my heavy stainless bull barrel. Gas block clears fine but the barrel nut wont fit over the barrel. I cant understand why a company would build a forend for an ar15 that wont work on all barrel sizes. Guess I'll put ...

ODIN ON EVERYTHING
The Odin line of handguard options is absolutely the best option for the money hands down. Not mentioning the wicked designs they have all of the rails I have used mount up tighter than dicks hatband and are the lightest or at least tie for the lightest options out there. With the unbelievable low pricing OPTICS PLANET offers I almost find myself buying standard milspec M4 and M5 rifles just to get another Odin. These opinions are coming from 25 years of building and modifying M4/M5 rifles and for the price OPTICS PLANET offers there is no better choice for me. Thanks O.P. for always having the best deals on everything!!!

Quality tube
I ordered the 17.5 in black for an SPR build. The included barrel nut is a 1 3/16s inch so I had to buy a crows foot that size. I was a little concerned about my fingers slipping through the cut outs after reading one of the other reviews but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me. Overall it's a quality tube that looks great with a stainless barrel running through it.

Big look but not big weight
I bought this to go on my 24in 224 valkyrie build. It was the longest forend I could find that was still super lightweight. At 17.5in it weighs less then some 10in forends that I own. It goes on with no trouble. The barrel nut gives you enough room to get your gas tube in without having to struggle with clocking it. Uses 3 bolts to attach to the barrel nut so it feels very sturdy. Over all very happy with the purchase!

Odin 17.5” M-Lok Handguard
This is my first Odin product and I’m very happy with the fit, quality and look wrapped around the 24” stainless bull barrel - The skeleton cutting of the handguard doesn’t effect the stoutness and the M-Lok positioning is perfectly positioned for accessories - I’ll definitely look into other Odin products -

This Ragna Rocks!
If you haven't ordered a new forend for your AR, look no farther. This forend is extremely durable, light weight, and literally pops when installed over a stainless steel barrel. Excellent fit for 18" or longer barrels, even once your compensator, muzzle brake, or silencer is installed, this forend makes the difference. I have very big hands and the Ragna is still very comfortable.
One thing to consider very carefully is your choice of gas block. You absolutely will need a low profile block to clear the forend. I'm using a Timber Creek .750 low profile block and the fit is tight but it still clears. Make sure you know the gas block dimensions before ordering this forend. Otherwise, hope you enjoy it. It's a beautiful piece of art.
