Coolest Product I've Ever Bought

This is a quality product for the price and a great way to get into the world of night vision without spending hundreds of dollars. My kids and I have enjoyed exploring the outdoors at night and it has even helped my daughter overcome her fear of the dark! This is a durable piece of equipment and certainly not a toy, but affordable enough where I can trust my kids to use it. I couldn't say that about any of my other night vision optics.

Its not usable as a tactical tool. Spotting other IR devices with its light turned off is about the only tactical use, and thats difficult to do without illuminating yourself when trying to turn the light off, as it turns on every time the unit it powered up. Sale price can not be beat. Keep your expectations real and you will be pleased. It is the truck NV now. Works well enough on the ranch for spotting our steer or predators in the open. No problem operating in the 12 degrees Fahrenheit that it was exposed to

See with little to no light

The visual was grainy but what do you expect looking at night with little or no light (infrared). It is a nice addition to gear for going out at night for a cooler walk after a hot Florida day. The field of view was not wide but enough to get a picture of the surroundings. It is also a good device to have around the home at night for protection. If you cannot afford the really expensive stuff this is a good first defense.

  • Walks around neighborhood and home protection.

Owning other NV devises including thermals, this one is very useful and lightweight. Additionally purchased XLR-IR850 illuminator to aid my wife and I to quell the relentless reoccurring FOX & SKUNK raiders.. Thanks for delivering all of your products in a timely manner, as shortages do create some lag time.

Light and versatile

This took quite a while to arrive after my order was placed, but I am VERY pleased with its performance. I run a trapline and hunt coyotes and wolves at all hours of the day. Gear adds up when it comes to weight and I find it more difficult to hike up and down the mountains the older I get. This little device is so light that I don't notice it until ready to use. The clarity is great and it works well. In the woods, it gives great imagery as far as the density of the forest allows. Coyotes on the prairie are easy to pick out before transitioning to my thermal scope. Awesome tool!

Compact NV monocular

Purchased this as an add on to a thermal monocular. Have not used it a bunch, but clarity and contrast is decent. It is handy to look out in the yard to see if there are any critters around before letting the dog out.

Good for price point

Overall the product works and on a clear night over looking fields you can see very well. There is no zoom and no dimming available to help with eye relief. That is the only downfall, it’s so bright after leaving looking through this you will most likely have dimmed, blurred vision for a few mins.
