The mount is garbage and you will need to buy a scalarworks or something decent to ensure a proper mount. The optic is not durable and has plastic covers front and back that scratch instantly causing issues with the view. I have concerns if it could survive a drop test. Field of view is good for a mailbox type optic. Though its enclosed glare in full sun is an issue. I see artifacts of the emitter when full sun hits the back window. Pros are its cheap, but I wish I had just saved up a few hundred more to get something that I would not be thinking of replacing after a couple months.

I love this red dot i run it on my ruger pc charger as my bedside gun and it works like a charm. Its plenty bright, shake awake is cool, holds zero great, multiple reticle options is nice. Overall a great option. My only gripe is the glare you see if the recticle is too bright. But as long as you have it tuned its fine and works very effectively. 9/10 perfect for general use.

One of the only dots I have that has a crisp dot despite my astigmatism. Lots of features, tough, and light.

It’s my 3rd Holosun AEMS . This one is OPMOD gray with a red dot . Put it on a gray Scorpion SBR . Love the window size , comparable to an EO TECH with much less bulk . Probably not bulletproof and not holographic but that’s not a concern for me . PDW / range toy . The lower 1/3 cowitness works good on this setup and now they make aftermarket mounts if you want a different height . I have another one on a 300blk SBR for hog hunting from a swamp buggy . Large field of view with different reticle options . Great setup .

4.5 stars.⭐️. Bought this when it was on a terrific sale at Optics Planet. Mostly have EOTechs on my ARs but wanted to try this out on a smaller 7.5” .300 BLK AR pistol build. Locks up tight in the top pic rail, but imho the retention screw could be better. It’s a torx head screw, but a much smaller torx head size that could be stripped if you over tighten it. It’s an enclosed optic and has additional flip up protective covers on both ends. I got the green MRS with the dot and circle of death, similar to an EOTech. The backup solar feature is a nice added bonus. Zeroing in the sight was easily done, and the elevation/windage adjustments were positive but not super firm. I’ve shot over 1,000 rounds with it on, and it hasn’t lost zero yet. Battery compartment is secure and has a rubber gasket to protect against water intrusion. One of the best features is Holosun’s shake awake feature that puts the optic in a sleep mode to save battery life, and turns right back on with the slightest movement. I’ve tested it more times than I care to admit, and it works every time. Great for any home defense set up. Beats the EOTechs I have that all have to be manually turned on. One less thing to worry about if you have to grab your home defense weapon in a pinch. Can’t speak to the durability since I haven’t beat it up yet in training, etc., so ymmv. Would definitely buy again.

Awesome very crisp dot and lightweight! I plan to put this on my S&W FPC and it is a perfect match for it.

This seems like a solid optic for your firearm. The green reticle is easy to see and the solar panel really boosts the brightness when needed. The fact that you can replace the battery without removing the optic is a nice plus. The controls are pretty easy to use, although thry're not completely intuitive. Consult the manual for all the features. It comes with an extra battery tray & mounting screws, which is nice in case you ever lose one. The c through flip down lens covers are really nice as well. It's very lightweight and very compact in size. I would definitely recommend this.
