Most Helpful Positive Review Wanted now got
I looked at quite a few brands, I bought this one 2 nights later watched a rabbit 4 about a hour 100 to 150yards in & out of lite cover, I wish the battery was AA or AAA some replaceable battery, otherwise I believe that I'm going to be very happy with this thermal-monocular!
Most Helpful Negative Review $600 Thermal
To say "low end" on a device costing $600 seems inaccurate, but given the cost of other night vision equipment I guess it is correct? For some, this might be just want they need. While it allows you to see thermally, there are significant downsides. The image is small, the clarity is marginal, an...

Better than I expected

by Black Eye, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 24, 2024
I've been testing this out at night in a nearby lot while I await my upcoming hunting trip. Visibility is at least 200 yards. I am very pleased with the performance and believe this is a great value. I plan to use this to spot for animals and then use my IR scope for better identification once I know which way to look. It too hard to use my scope for scanning.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • limited field of view

Great for scanning fields predator hunting

by ct, from MO, United States Written on February 19, 2024
We have been using this scanning for predators during our thermal hunting season. Its light and compact and easy to use. Quality is perfect for scanning and can easily identify animals up to a couple hundred yards. This is NOT a $5,000 pulsar but it is an excellent addition to our setup. Everyone in our group sees no need to buy an expensive monocular. Spend money for a nice scope to shoot with and use this to look around. It does everything we need at a great price.

ATN THERMAL MONOCULAR

by Dinomite, from PA, United States Written on December 25, 2023
So far I'm excited using it. Working on how to use it to its full potential. So far I like the black hot. That mode is easy for me to Recognize what The animal is that I am picking up its heat signature. The Imagery is a little grainy higher magnification. This could be to me not knowing how to work the monocular correctly yet. I would buy it again. I also am recommending it to my friends on a tight budget. We can't afford 3 or 4 thousand dollars for high end thermal devices.

Good entry level thermal

by Fisher, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on December 14, 2023
Works as advertised. Does a pretty good job. I can pull up a thermal image of deer out to 600 yards plus. You don’t have definition at that range but, I can tell what it is. Out to around 200 yards is pretty nice. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks so I’m sure I’ll get it tweaked a little better. Perry good for an entry level thermal.
Pros:
  • Picks up heat signature pretty well
Cons:
  • A little grainy
Best Used for:
  • Location farther out. Initiation closer up

Great value for the price

by Suprema-Sea, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on December 13, 2023
I dont have much experience with thermal monoculars, but the features on this ATN OTS XLT 2.5-10 seem fantastic compared to other units that are hundreds of dollars more. I bought this to check my cattle pastures at night for predators. So far ive seen elk and deer out to 700 yds. And a few barn cats closer.

Decent Quality

by REM 7600, Verified Owner from MD, United States Written on November 30, 2023
Clarity is ok. Unit works as it should, I can pick up game in low light conditions for several hundred yards. The internal battery doesn’t last as long as I hoped it would, and charging takes a while.

Better than I thought it would be

by ME, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on November 5, 2023
For a low end thermal device I am impressed. The only issue I have with the device is how long it takes to charge. Other than that, if you are looking for pan affordable thermal device for hunting then I would recommend trying out.
Pros:
  • Easy to use and unexpectedly clear
Cons:
  • Long charging time
