I regretted buying the Daniel Defense PCC at first. It's an excellent carbine, but it is just direct blowback. The hydraulic buffer softened recoil considerably but didn't do anything for muzzle rise. When I saw this roller delay buffer, I thought, "No way it can be that easy." But I had to try.

It was that easy.

This thing really works. It makes a massive difference. The only downside is that it becomes hard to charge (hard to pull the charging handle back because you have to overcome the rollers...hence "roller delay"). It's very hard with one finger (relatively) but pretty easy with two fingers (one on each side of the charging handle). To me that's not really a downside, just something to remember. In any case, it's well worth it. Without any recoil mitigation, it keeps all hits within 1/2 to 1/3 of a USPSA A zone at 10 yards. With recoil mitigation (good, solid grip), that area shrinks. I use mine with a comp, but without the roller delay buffer, the comp didn't do all that much.

So now I love my Daniel Defense PCC. It's a night and day difference from stock.

I was having bolt bounce issues shooting a cheep BCA side charger AR so I decided to try this roller delayed buffer & this thing seems to have done the trick , I’ve only shot about 5-600 rounds so far & all is good only time will tell how good it holds up but it changed the recoil impulse for sure . No regrets picking this up from optics planet who had it for the lowest price around .

Very well made and installation takes all of 3 minutes.I went with this over the jp short stroke scs bc of reveiws on the pcc topic.I cant wait to try it out

I removed the slug in my carrier, and installed this. Cut my recoil by significant amount. I'd say 30-50%, it's very noticeable.

My Direct Blowback AR style 9mm Carbines have sharp, strong recoil. This product softens the recoil & makes shooting much smoother. It seems very well built, is worth the price & a great product!

First of all, my setup,
I have a 10.5 inch Stern upper, and a LRB AR15 milspec. lower and a Stern 9mm mag well adapter. I have a Rugged 3 lug muzzle device and adapter for my Rugged Obsidian 9. I’ve never really been impressed by this can. I always thought that it was mediocre on sound suppression and has fairly high back pressure. It was very gassy. Full disclosure, I am running a Breek Sledgehammer charging handle. And up until yesterday, a standard carbine spring with a 10 oz. buffer. Well, I finally bit the bullet, and bought this 8 oz. roller delay system, by Maxim Defense. Frankly, I am completely blown away, at its complete performance I have 10 suppressors, with 6 being rimfire. I’ve pretty much not used my Obsidian for a year. It was just so unimpressive to me, that I lost interest. So much so, that I was seriously considering buying a PTR Vent 2. That’s now changed I am sticking with this setup. There was no detectable gas in my face. Port pop is undetectable as well. It’s definitely hearing safe I couldn’t imagine how much quieter it could be with the CAT MOB or the PTR Vent 2. I’m betting that since it all but eliminated the port pop, it would even work very well with a linear comp. I almost forgot, there’s a huge reduction in recoil. It shoots incredibly smooth.
Now, you know that there’s always something you find, that you can knit-pick, about anything. My knit pick, It’s kinda difficult to install with your trigger installed. That’s it, JUST BUY IT. Trust me, I...

Highly recommend runs great super smooth less recoil

Was a bit skeptical as I have tried multiple recoil systems for my JP GMR 15 PCC. I shoot IDPA & USPSA. The first round I shot I thought I had a squib because the recoil was so light.

Product arrived rusty. Received another, was also rusty. Not what youd wxpect feom such an expensive buffer.
