Most Helpful Positive Review Worth Every Penny
Buy once cry once. Cost a little more then some other Receiver rods but it's the bees knees. High quality. If your building an AR don't cheap out. I watched some YouTube reviews and did some research and this was highly recommended.

Excellent high quality tool

If you ever install or uninstall a barrel on your AR-15, this is a must have tool. This will keep your barrel properly aligned when tightening the barrel nut, and prevent damage when removing it. The OPMOD nickel plating is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Only Reaction rod I considered to be fair, the top fin is undefeated in load distribution! I dig the MWI / OP collab nickel baller stuff, the nickel armorers wrench is saucey also. Worked perfectly with a small butane blowtorch i was able to get my MD off with no problem in about 3 minutes flat LoL!

AR15 Upper Receiver Rod - a/k/a Reaction Rod

I needed a tool to hold uppers when installing barrels. I ordered this one based on the appearance of quality, durability and price. I am very impressed by this heavy-duty reaction rod. The fit and finish are excellent and the ability to stabilize the uppers while working to install a barrel was outstanding. I really like the fact that this tool fits snugly into the charging handle slot. I think this is a much more secure and stable method to secure the upper receiver than a straight, bare bones reaction rod. This was the particular feature that induced me to purchase this part and I'm so glad I did. I think you will be very pleased with this part. It should be in everyone's AR toolbox!
