Most Helpful Negative Review 1st gen is better
This is my second ra-242 I have the 1st gen and just installed the 2nd gen. I much prefer the set screw installation of the 1st gen over the springs in the 2nd gen. It is a pain in the azz to get the trigger pin holes to line up with receiver. I had to use a hammer to get the 2nd pin aligned correct...

Best Upgrade One Can Do For Better Shooting Performance!

Has been researching triggers for my Andersen Manufacturing rifle for quite some time until this one went on sale. It was a great price compared to all the other triggers that OP was offering. I received it and swapped out the stock trigger. HOLY COW! What night and day difference it made!! This trigger had such a clean, crisp squeeze that it took me by surprise on the first squeeze!! I went from erratic groupings on the target to tight groupings at 100 yds! I highly recommend this trigger! Great upgrade for the price!!

This trigger is great!

I put this trigger in my 10.3 and it was awesome. The 3.5 lb is perfect. No play or wasted mechanics in this drop in. I will be buying more to throw in my other rifles.

RA-242 Gen 2 Enhanced Rifle Trigger

I have installed the RA-242 Gen 2 Enhanced Rifle Trigger but haven't tryed it out yet due to the weather and our out door range aren't open yet, but I might do a review later on after I try out the trigger. Otherwise the trigger has a very nice no creep and a super clean break, with a super nice trigger reset. I would recommend this trigger if your in the market looking for one.

Rise Armament RA-242 Gen 2 Flat

Quality trigger, nice clean break and reset. Own a 434 and honestly feels exactly the same! Bought this for a "poverty pony" build, wouldn't fit in the Anderson lower. Trigger pocket was too narrow. But at least had I a few other options that needed an upgrade. Great trigger for the price!

  • Crisp & clean break when firing
  • A bargain for the price
  • reset is short
  • zero travel
Cons:
  • Didn't fit Anderson Lower

RA Blue 242!

Exactly what I wanted! I was looking to upgrade my PSA 300 BLK out build and wanted to do something that would change it aesthetically as well. The trigger is definitely an upgrade over the milspec trigger. At the same time delivering an aesthetically pleasing look.
