For The Price on OP, This is an incredible buy
I was reticent to order this scope. I mean, seriously, a $300+ retail scope for right at $100? Soooo glad I did buy it. Glad enough to immediately order 2 more; another 4-16 and a 3-12. I am a fan of 30mm tubes for the greater brightness. But the big ocular lense on this scope and exceptional c...

Updated review
I previously left a review and there is no option to update the review so here goes. The visual clarity of the scope is still great. Box test at 20 clicks up, left, down & right was good. With a solid return to zero. Here's why it's 2 starsl Mounted scope on an Aero Precision lightweight moun...

Incredible Value - easiest way to see if you will like longer range shooting
This scope is incredible for the price.
The glass is decent and more than good enough, build quality is good enough so far. It feels solid, well‑constructed, and a good optic for this price bracket.
If you can catch it on sale or stack an Optics Planet discount, it becomes an even better value.
The turrets are surprisingly nice with positive clicks and a consistent feel, and visually, the scope looks fantastic — clean, sharp, and more premium than its cost suggests.
flip caps included.
One downside: the focus does require a bit more adjustment as you move through the magnification range. It’s not a huge deal, just something you notice when jumping from low to high power quickly. For the price, though, it’s well worth the minor inconvenience.
Overall, this scope delivers a great mix of affordability, build quality, and performance. Very impressed with what Viridian packed into this optic at this price point.
NOTE - haven't been able to shoot it yet, I will try to update the review once i have taken it out and ensured it will hold zero under recoil. It is mounted on a 7MM Rem Mag

Dots too small to see
This seems like a very nice scope with dashes on the horizontal crosshair and dots on the vertical crosshair. The dots on the vertical crosshair are few, very small, and evenly spaced. The dots are not much wider than the vertical crosshair and I could hardly make them out. I also prefer a BDC where the dots are not evenly spaced allowing for more drop at longer ranges. I would have prefered dashes on the vertical crosshair like it had on the horizontal crosshair. It may be a great value socpe for some people, but not for me--just my personal preference.
Pros:
- Price
- side adjustable focus and turrets
Cons:
- dots too small

Not terrible for the price
Pretty darn good glass for the money. BDC reticle is almost useless. The drop dots below the crosshair center are tiny, nearly imperceptible. I can only see them when looking at a bright target with lots of light, and they barely stick out from the line. The windage hashes are pronounced and easy to see. BDC reticles are really good for hunting, which is often in low light... when these bdc dots are impossible to see. The eyebox is very picky at all magnifications. Have to have your eye at just the right distance from the scope, and centered side to side and up/down. For around $100 it's a good deal. For double that, I can easily find better scopes. Overall, it's pretty good for what it is. The turrets are pretty good, even though the clicks are somewhat mushy. The push locking knobs are a nice touch. For a budget, it's pretty good, but it certainly doesn't compete with $400 scopes, which this one allegedly is at "suggested retail" price. Same scope as the Vector Hugo.

Great Deal for Long Range scope
I was hesitant to purchase at first. After comparing prices and reticle style this was perfect. The scope is very sturdy and doesn't feel like a cheap scope. It is comparable to a vortex diamondback line. Like most scope, the average consumers use is not made in the US. The most important thing to have, is support; and that support is coming from the US and not overseas. I've reach out to support, and they respond quickly with a day or 2.
It got a great eye relief. If you wear glasses, the reticle and Field of view is amazing without your glasses on. Parallax all the way down to 10 yards maybe 5.
This was a replacement for my Nikon and boy it outshines the Nikon. However, the Nikon does slightly better under low lighting. It going to mount of my Ruger RPR. Hope it hold zero. I don't see why not. If it does this is a 5 Stars.
Not sure why Opticsplanet listed not available. Good thing I purchase 1 prior.

recommending for 22 Win Mag
Picked this up for my Cousin's 22 Win Mag to replace a scope with bad parallax errors.
So far so good. Sighted in OK @ 25yds.. Has not shot any distance as yet.
Glass is very clear for a scope in this price range.
Parallax is manageable.

Great optic for an amazing price
Saw the price on this scope and I figured "why not?" At this price if it's a dud I'll put it on a 22lr and call it done. I was not disappointed. I put it onto a 224 Valkyrie and took it to my local long distance range. Off the bat it was pretty much zeroed bc the first shot I took impacted the steel target at 200 yds. I confirmed the zero at 200 yds and entered the data into strelok pro. Was able to go all the way to 600 yds. The turret was crisp and easily adjustable. I haven't done box test on it and will edit this review after doing so. Regarding Strelok, I was able to find the reticle (BDC 600) and used the 4-16x 40 Athlon Talos as the scope. Very impressed with the clarity of the scope and will be buying more Viridian products in the future.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
- Clear glass & Reticle
- Looking turrets
Cons:
- Small field of view
Best Used for:
- long distance accurate shooting
- 22lr precision rimfire matches
