Reviews & Ratings for OpticsPlanet Rifle Scope Rings Set
— 6 reviews — Page 1
These junk rings dont fit any rail, tried them on several different rifles with different rails. On top of not mounting to anything properly they seem to be warped to one side as well. Dont waste your money

As usual Optics Planet was quick is processing and shipping. As to the rings? They fit snug and mounted quickly. Unfortunately the Torx head screws were soft. Using a torque screw driver set at 18 lbs and the correct tight fitting bit, there were only 4 out of 8 screws that did not round out the points. Made setting the screws properly difficult at best. Luckily I had some hex head screws to replace them with.
Pros:
mounted easily
Cons:
Poor quality screws

Very satisfied. High quality at a low price. What my customers are looking for. We have tried many different brands. Some much more expensive. But these are holding just as well if not better than the high end lines of product. Highly recommend these.

any

Beefy rings. Heavier than most I've had. I like the extended base screwhead for socket use. Fits a CASM 14 base perfectly with no slack. Need to lap them but they seem to be low enough on my M1A to line-up with a cheek pad, which I have installed. Good value. I'm happy.

so I'm not going to say they are, but these look alot like some stuff sold by GGG and leaper's; and believe it or not these would definitely be able to compare at least quality wise. they look good and were straight, the screws actually have a bit of roughness to them i actually don't mind, but just to be clear, the threads are a bit ROUGH cut, as long as you countersink the screw to make sure the threads are aligned you'll be perfectly good, and you'll get a screw set that's definitely not going to back out on you anytime soon and you can still get it apart again no problem. BTW for the nerds that need to know, the 1&1/4 in height quoted is from base to center of the ring, not to saddle. a solid basic necessity that gets the job done.
Pros:
Tightness
Cheap & budget friendly, functions.
Cons:
China made
Best Used for:
keeping expensive glass tube piece secured to boomstick

I have Burris Signature Zee rings and they are a bear to center on bases, bought these to try and see if the issue clears up. 34mm rings and larger are not to be found much less trusted for less than $100 a set. Built solid. When I get them in place I will update post.
Pros:
budget friendly
Cons:
none yet but will further review
