Inexpensive and useful buffer tube wrench
I specifically needed a buffer tube nut wrench to get a tough buffer tube nut to move. Regular open ended wrenches were not doing the job, But I ordered this and it worked great. For he price, it can't be beat.
Pros:
- inexpense and useful
- easy & affordable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- losing and tightening a buffer tube nut

Soft Steel
The center tooth doesn't engage the castle nut. Only the left first and last teeth on the wrench make contact with the nut. The teeth on the wrench rounded off while tightening an ALUMINUM ultralight castle nut from V Seven. When a steel tool gives way before an ultralight aluminum nut you know it is a cheap piece of junk. When it happened I thought I had stripped my Aluminum nut. But then I look at the nut and the wrench and see the nut was fine, the wrench deformed. Don't waste your time and just buy a better AR-15 tool from a brand that has a reputation.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Soft steel
