Most Helpful Positive Review Best PDP Trigger Upgrade
I was reluctant to try this trigger for several reasons that all seem really unimportant now. I have shot several PDP models with this trigger installed and I am completely sold on Overwatch Precision. The stock Walther trigger is really good, the PPQ trigger was probably the best stock trigger on a polymer, striker fired pistol. The Overwatch TAC takes it to the next level. The main area where is excels is reduced take up. It has a slight travel to a very defined wall, then a clear and crisp break. It also seemed to help with an audible reset. If you keep the stock Walther springs, the pull w...

Wow! What a great upgrade to your base PDP. Easy enough install with basic tools. Take up his feather light and break is Pringle chip crisp. Reset is perfect.

PDP Compact

First of all I have to say these firearms are a pain to disassemble. Other than that the trigger install is pretty straight forward. I’ve probably put over 400 rounds on my PDP with the Overwatch trigger and definitely fell in love with it. I also have Overwatch triggers on my two Echelons . Highly recommended, I honestly think the stock trigger out of the box is great but this OPT really does take out the take up out of the pull and the reset is awesome. This trigger comes with two springs I recommend going with the green spring which is the 4.5-5 lb spring, I prefer a little heavy trigger for carry.
Pros:
  • every aspect, superbe engineering
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Carry & Conceal.
  • Range and Tactical applications
Would recommend: Yes

Great Trigger

by parky, from GA, United States Written on December 11, 2025
I have been hesitating and can't decide between Overwatch and Walther Performance trigger. I just installed Overwatch trigger on my PDP Compact (thanks to the early Black Friday Sale). Factory trigger is great, but I just wanted little less pretravel, and this delivered it. I don't think I want to do anything else to my PDP. I have not tried Walther Performance trigger, but Overwatch trigger brought what I wanted at half the price.
Pros:
  • good break, very short overall travel.
Cons:
  • None

Perfect upgrade

by John Iaria, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on June 30, 2025
The out of the box trigger for the PDP is already great, but the Overwatch Precision trigger is a game changer. Not only does it look cool, but it reduces the take up that comes with the stock trigger, has a clearly defined wall and a crisp break, along with a short reset. Perfect upgrade that also won’t break the bank.

A very nice addition to the Walther PDP! (4" full size)
Had a gunsmith drop it in, and I tried it out. WOW!
This trigger includes 2 springs (red, and green)
Not a "must have", but a "VERY NICE TO HAVE"
Group was nice, and tight. (used JHP)
Pros:
  • Gives it a nice, customized look. PPQ-ish!
  • Comfortable feel while shooting!
Cons:
  • Not enough to go around.
