Recoil Pad
These are high good quality pads. You must have a vertical or disk sander and understand the process to install correctly. If you don't have the skill get it done by a qualified gunsmith. Always measure and buy the right size SML. These have an inner piece of steel that you will run into and ruin your project if you get the wrong size.
Soaks up recoil and looks good too!
Pachmayr has always made great recoil pads and their recent changes make them a little better than before. The ribbing in the decelerator pad gives just the right absorption of recoil, compared to solid pads. The rounding of the face gives a better fit on the shoulder. Radiusing the edges after grinding to fit makes it more comfortable. Lately, the updated molding process gives a more uniform look to the pad and to me, the finished product looks better.

great product
I have installed these Pads on my Rifles for years. They can't be beat...Reduce felt recoil like no other Pad.. start with 60 grit belt and finish off with a 150 grit..tape off the stock with 2 layers of masking tape & finish grind to remove the top layer..best Pad on the market.

Pachmayr D752B Decelerator Old English recoil pad
A great looking, effective recoil pad which is easy to fit. If the look of a classic Silvers style recoil pad is appealing, but recoil reduction is required for your rifle or shotgun, you will enjoy this pad. Have not found a better looking, effective pad.

Recoil pad met expectations. Overall service by Optic Planets.com consistently good.
