Most Helpful Positive Review Good grip glove, but not so much with Crimson Trace LaserGuide
Good product, with a couple of cautions. This does not well with the Crimson Trace LaserGuard (LG-469) for the XDS, because it covers over the laser actuating button. The laser still works, for the most part, but sometime it will stay on after releasing the button because of the extra pressure...

Not pleased with this purchase simply because product is defective. I will be contacting customer service to see how they handle this. Otherwise, seems like it would a very useful item. Pros: Great feel for larger hands. Cons: Rubber split about a week after it was on the firearm.

Pachmayr Tactical gun grip

by Howard, from FL, United States Written on October 25, 2022
I am pleased with my purchase of his item. It installed quickly and easily. The grippy feel is much better than the factory grips. When my hands are damp or wet, there was some slippage on the factory grips. With the Pachmayr grips, I get a secure grip on my S&W Shield. It obviously thickens the gun slightly but not enough to be an issue. All in all, I love it. Exactly what I was looking for.

Pachmayr grip on Ruger LCP2

by Barry, from PA, United States Written on June 13, 2020
Rubber grip sleeve helps control the snappy kick on LCP2. It adds traction but also a degree of added thickness for better control of subcompact pocket pistols. The added thickness gives this the nod over Talon grips for these subcompact pistols. Though, Pachmayr grip will not work on LCP2 with Crimson Trace Laserguard.
Pros:
  • Inexpensive. Easy on and off if you wish.
  • Does not interfere with original Ruger LCP2 pocket sleeve holster
Cons:
  • Not compatible with Crimson Trace Laserguard for Ruger LCP2

smooth touch

by Mark, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on December 24, 2019
Disappointed in this glove. Although the fit is very good, rather than enhance the grip on a Glock 17----it did the opposite. The rubber used is not at all "sticky". For me, the factory plastic grip is much preferable.

Tried the rest; Bought the best

by Progunr, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on July 27, 2018
I've been using Pachmayr grips on all of my pistols for over 30 years. I first started using them when I was shooting I.H.M.S.A. matches. I was shooting a 10" T/C in 30-30 caliber and after 40 rounds of fire my hands would be sore for a week. At one match I saw a guy shooting a T/C with funny looking rubber grips on it and he told me that they really tamed recoil. The difference was unreal between the wood grips and rubber.

The new Tactical Gun Grip Glove is much easier to slip over your original grips than the older models. It took me a couple of hours to slip an older model on my Kimber. But these newer models slip on like a perfect fitting glove. I'm really impressed with them.
Pros:
  • Cost effective and good design
Cons:
  • NONE - EVER
Best Used for:
  • Any caliber gun larger than a .22

Pachmayr Tactical Gun Grip Gloves

by Pete, from TN, United States Written on January 12, 2018
Excellent for better grip on small guns like a Ruger LCP or Kel-Tec P3AT. My only complaint is that they grab if my gun is pocket carried rather than in a holster. Quality material and construction.

Best grip for the Money!

by Snake Pleskin, from SC, United States Written on August 14, 2017
I use this grip on two Glock 42's...perfect.... Just enough grippiness and the palm swells are sized nicely to help you hold on with out adding bulk. Much better than the Hogue style. highly recommend!

Excellent fit and feel

by Hunter, from WV, United States Written on January 22, 2017
The Pachmayr Tactical Gloves installed easily and are of excellent quality as expected. The gloves are soft and provide a sure grip. I personally like these better than the Hogue gloves. The price is reasonable.

grips rock

by Raysfan, from FL, United States Written on November 8, 2016
The addition of these grips made my xds much more pleasurable to shoot. It went on easy and fit great. I would recommend this product to anyone. I love the way the grip feels and made the ouch factor of xd grips disappear.

Must have for all Sig owners

by Tommy Gun, from Munster, Ireland Written on July 7, 2016
Great product and very easy to fit. Improved my aim because of larger more comfortable grip. Corrects any discrepancy in your grip due mainly to finger grooves. Also stays on extremely well. Used on the range this week without any problems.

VERY GOOD/ NOT PERFECT

by Desertman, from AZ, United States Written on January 28, 2015
I'm using these on a pair of M&P Shields. The stock grip is a bit narrow. These slip on very easy and look good. I've noticed just in dry firing the do tend to
work down to where they may interfere with magazine change when firing a number of rounds. I have't been out on the desert to shoot yet with them so
the jury is out. I have read where some users expressed this problem. I'll decide for myself when out shooting if it's serious enough to remove them.
However, they do provide a fuller grip feel as they have what seems a thickening area on each side of the grip. This doesn't make them as (overly) wide as
my Glock 26 Gen4. Actually about right. All in all__if they don't present a real problem with slippage they're keepers.
