Most Helpful Negative Review Okay, but not wonderful
This pad does a good job of "taming" recoil, but is a royal pain to use in the hunting position my Dad and I like, which is prone. It simply will NOT work in prone, don't even try! Worked great, tamed 30-06

I recently had a pacemaker installed next to my shooting shoulder and my 30-06 kicks pretty hard. This product helped tame the recoil enough that i was comfortable shooting it. I highly recommend. It is clearly designed for right handed shoots. It works as well for lefties but doesn't go on as easy or look as good.

Wouldn't go to the range without it!

Whether working up loads for the .300 Win Mag, or just spending the day 'going long', with the .338 Lapua, this is one piece of equipment that is always in my range bag. My father-in-law bought me my first Recoil Shield a few years back, as a sarcastic response to the purchase of my Lapua. Sort of a "Good luck, ya Dumb Fool", gag gift. After a long range session one afternoon, I decided I needed just a bit more protection. So, I opted to invest the Super Mag Plus. I have to admit that it seemed a bit bulky when I first put it one, but after a couple of rounds, it settled right in place like the old one.

Bought strictly for the range. Takes the bite out of reviewing a forty set of handloads of a 300WSM but have to admit it was as another reviewer mentioned - very stinky out of the box.
Won't stop me from using it but is aromatic.
Pros: Works as advertised, adjustment for the largest men
