Great upgrade to standard 7rd magazine
This extension fits perfectly and provides better control of the pistol while shooting.The quality appears to be of the same as the factory Smith & Wesson composite material. Recommended upgrade to the Shield, which is already a great pistol.

Slow delivery
I ordered this product over 3 weeks ago and still have not received it. How do you expect me to properly review it. Once I get the item and have some time to use it I will be glad to write a longer more accurate review.
Extra room
Works good. Makes the seven round magazine usable since you don’t have a hanging pinky. Give you more control of the gun yet doesn’t mess with conceal carry. Still very easy to remove from the holster. Over all happy.

Perfect fit
Purchased to use on my smaller mag as my pinky had a tendency to hang out in no mans land. Other mag has a hyve extension which is great but prints when carry appendix, this doesn't print and fits my entire hand. Best part is its lightweight, minimalistic.

With the standard 7-round magazine for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield (9mm & .40S&W) your pinky is left high and dry. There's no place for it to rest.
Adding this grip extension, you get a very comfortable grip with all you fingers. Best of all, there's no unnecessary bulk added to the magazine.
Bottom line, it works and it works very well.

This is only for the 7 round mag.
This gun comes with a 7 and 8 round mag. This extension is only for the 7 round mag. It does network with the 8 round mag. If you must carry the 7 round mag mag, this thing is money. It makes the 7 feel like the 8.

m&p mag extension
like the mag extension really helps get that little extra length for the pinky finger so it's not hanging over the mag it's easy to install at first it was a little hard to seat in to the gun you kind had to slam it in to get it to lock in to the frame but now works really great once you break it in also leave's no gap really like it.

Great item for your CCP
Makes your CCP even better by adding extra area to grip with your pinky finger. Have used these on my pistols for several years and have enjoyed the improvement they provide without compromising any concealment. Great product!

This is a must have if you carry your shield with the smaller mag. It is great quality and really will give you greater increased control of the firearm. If you are looking to have a solid concealed carry and want a better grip this is a must have!

Pearce grip M&P shield
able to use it on the 7 round mag that would normally fit flush, but not the pinkie rests comfortably. easiest $6 you will need to spend on your shield. looks like it won't move off the bottom of the mag, and same good quality as the factory shield base place.

Great Product
This extension allows you to get full grip on Shield. Excellent fit and doesn't add much length. When using full control can be maintained during rapid fire drills. Requires little effort to fit and matches finish on existing magazine.

Great product BUT----
Well made, easily installed and reasonably priced. This grip extension is best installed on the standard magazine (6 shot). Unless you have large hands it does not enhance the 7 shot extended magazine. That being said I would highly recommend the Pearce Grip Extension for the .40 cal M&P Shield.
