ComTacv Hearing defenders
I bought these to replace a worn out pair of sordins. They came to me as advertised. They spent the first week of their life drowning out high intensity noise on a battalion level crew served range. Never missed a beat. They’re comfortable fit well under an ACH and do what they’re supposed to.

I got these headsets because they are highly respected in the community. Unfortunately, the stock pads need to be replaced immediately with nice gel pads. Amazing Ear Pro
I can't speak highly enough about these, wish I had picked them up sooner. After going through several pairs of more affordable types, I finally committed to picking these up. I highly recommend the upgraded gel cups too.

Peltor headset
Amazing product. Completely blocks out loud noises. Comfortable to wear. Optics Planet always has the best prices and ships lightning fast.

There's no reason to buy these.
They don't stay in the clamped position when using the correct ARC helmet mount adapters. They also are not coms enabled so you have to spend hundreds more to make them adapted. Other lower priced headsets clamped in place just fine even with the thicker gel aftermarket cups.

Worth The Money
These things are worth every penny. I added some additional accessories to mine which are also expensive but once you buy you will see the difference. Works good as a tactical comm headset and just stand alone hearing protection. I wear it as-is under my helmet. I found that all the rail attachment mounts don't keep it tight enough to me ears. If you wear it under the hemet you can also use it with other headgear or just by itself.

Good hearing pro but accessories are a pain.
I already have a mic and PTT for this system so I thought I was set..... but. The microphone requires a $150 adapter cable just to go into a PTT. Adding another $150 step to make the system work. Other than that it is good at what it does, Great dynamic hearing and ear pro. A mic really does nothing if it can't go anywhere.

Super clear hearing
The quality and direction of hearing is very clear. Some minimal static if turned up all the way above normal sounds, but thats to hear bugs creep around or something. Recommend getting gel cups if intending on all day use.
