Used them in a week long intensive firearm training program. Fired over 4000 rounds while receiving extensive instruction and guidance. They performed beautifully. I was easily able to hear both the instructors and range officer's commands while still quieting the sound of the exploding rounds all around. Would definitely reccomend.
Pros: Easily hear normal conversation yet still protect from loudness
Cons: None
Would recommend: Yes

Hearing protection is quite good even when wearing over eye protection and eyeglasses. Really enjoy the fact that the unit doesn't suddenly click off when a shot is fired on the line and I'm in conversation with someone in the back. I can still hear the speaker. Controls are a bit getting used to. Finding the on button and holding to activate or shut off takes a bit of getting used to. The volume up button is topmost, on/off in the middle, and volume down at the bottom.
Pros: Hear conversations even when shooting is going on.
Cons: Controls a bit awkward, no ON indicator light

Love the Peltor fit, finish and quality. I shoot handguns and love the way these hearing protectors reduce the bang yet allow conversation to be heard. They are easy to wear all day long.

I bought these because I needed a pair of hearing protectors that would let me hear the rangemaster better than my old ones. These are very comfortable, do a great job at knocking out the gunfire, but exceed my expectations at letting me hear the conversations going on around me. They are a bit on the expensive side, but once you use them you'll see that they are worth it.
Pros: Comfortable, Work Great
Cons: Price
Would recommend: Yes

These work great at the pistol range and for using at home with power tools. I like to use them when I'm hog hunting, I can hear them coming in from quite a distace and spot them much earlier. I'd like to know where I can get replacement mic covers though, mine broke off (as did other people who have these). They still function great, just a little wind noise sometimes.
Pros: Noise control, comfort, weight, stereo amplification
Cons: mic foams commonly break off
Would recommend: Yes

Have bought and used several other ear muffs...this Peltor is on the bulky side and is one of the more expensive but...it does the job of cutting down gun shot noise and conversation level controls is sensitive and easy to adjust....your able to hear conversations 25+ feet away if need be or just next to you.
Pros: Good sound protection, simple controls
Cons: price, looked like a returned item
