Sound quality and comfort are great. Battery install and controls are very easy to use. True to decription, these have a stereo sound and although it amplfies sound, there is a sense of directional awareness. peltor hearing protector
I have had many types, styles and brands of hearing protection in my day. I use them daily at my job, and at the shooting range. the Peltor are behind the neck style that allows you to wear hats comfortably , which is a big plus. The range of hearing control is very impressive to the point that on the highest setting my walking on dirt was as load as a saw with out head phones on. I can have conversations with loud back ground noise and still hear every word.These are not cheap but how much is your hearing worth? I did not have head phones like this years ago and my hearing is paying for that now. To any body starting out or to work veterans these are a must in a hard noise environment. Work or play this are a great product.

good when over head type not practical!!!
Great set. Really good protection. When set to loud you hear everything. Good to use ear plugs for even greater DB reduction. Up and down volume works good. Easy to use controls when wearing set. Appears to be good quality.

These are great. My family has gotten 5 sets total. They all love them. Draw back on over the head model is if you have a small head they tend to be low on the ears. This was taken care of by putting foam tube on head band. May be to big for small person shooting a rifle.

Pros: At the gun range thier were 20 handguns going off, muffs worked great, quiet comfortable, easy to hear people talking.

electrician engineering, machine operators up 120db
This hearing protector is very comfortable to wear for several hours. This unit isn't cheap but is worth the price.long battery life.I could see Protector Neckband as a great set for construction, or machine operators that require a hard hat.
