Built to Last, Built to Catch Fish, American Made
I purchased this Penn US Senator 113N to wench grouper and snapper up from the bottom of the northern Gulf of Mexico. The reel is very smooth and much smoother than the cheaper Special Senator reels that have graphite frames. And yes, the reel hauls in the fish.
Pros:

- Great Old-School Look
- Sleek and strong one-piece aluminum frame
- Smooth drag adjustments
- Noisy clicker/strike alert
- More castable than other Senator reels
Cons:
- None, the reel is awesome.
Best Used for:
- Wenching up grouper and other bottom fish from the deeps.
