Great product for rifles with too much gas pressure. Simple to install and adjust.

I purchased the Dictator for a 300blk 10.5” build I am putting together for my boss, he wanted a Ghost Elite Upper so that is what I have. After receiving the Gas Block I immediately began to install it. After installing and snugging the set screws (not torquing) just for a test fit, I went to install the hand guard. This is where I realized, not all (low-profile) gas block are the same height.. my Hand-guard is 1-1/2” (top to bottom). The Dictator Gas Block is 1-5/8” (top to bottom). Sadly had to return, now my boss has to wait another month so I can return it / get the store credit to buy the new one. Short story Short, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR HANDGUARD SPACING / GAS BLOCK HEIGHT!!!
Pros:
- EASY INSTALL
- High-quality
- Positive adjustment clicks
Cons:
- Slightly overpriced
- upward venting gas port
- unique dimensions

This thing is awesome. I’ve put them on three of my rifles. Pair it with POF handgaurd and adjusting is a breeze.

Very well made, positions have nice positive detent clicks. Included tool is a nice touch. Just barely fits under my Geissele Mk4 handguard, which is a pretty low profile rail. Will be buying more for any additional builds that warrant an adjustable gas block.

American made, very good quality, enhanced tune-ability (9 position positive click with audible click), whats not to like? For a .300 blk DI rig an adjustable gas block is a must, especially when shooting suppressed. There are so many ammunition choices and running 3-4 rifles just doesn’t make sense for most of us. Take your rifle with this particular gas block to your shooting area, tune it to each ammunition you like and write down the settings throw some clear tape on each side of the card, put it in the fore-grip or rear pistol grip storage. Problem solved. This is a fantastic upgrade.
Pros:
- Quality
- American made
- tuning for many ammunition types
Cons:
- price is quite steep, but you get what you pay for
Best Used for:
- making your rifle multi ammunition functional

I bought it this feeling really glad about it. Thought I found a great permanent solution to pin on for my pin & weld barrel. But got it, opened box, didn't like it immediately. Its not as girthy or wide as I expected, but the suckers still huge and surprisingly heavy for its features. All that space and no carbon scrubber, only 9 positions. POF did email me directions on how to rebuild, and link to rebuild guts but found what I think is a vastly superior design & model with more features for something like 40 bucks less and half the size and weight.
Cons:
- weight
- price
- size
- Lacks features

This looks like a high quality item. Unfortunately it was too tall to fit inside my high profile dpms JL Billet handguard I’m using in my Aero Precision M5 308 build. Looks like it’s approximately 1/16 inch too tall to fit inside and I didn’t want to go with a shorter handguard and leave it exposed so I returned it.
Pros:
- Nice finish
- straight tube
- positive detents
Cons:
- Taller than other options

Couldn't get a "height above barrel" from the factory so I thought
I'd buy one and take a chance. Made a 2" OD (1.920 ID) Ti hand guard and it
hit it. Started looking at options and it
looked like .040 off the top would make it fit. So I
milled that off. Bad idea: first round test and it split when I fired it.
Need to check my numbers better.
Cons:
- Needs a VERY large hand guard to cover it

I currently have the 5.56 rifle length version on my 308 (Ballistic Advantage 20”) self built rifle. I haven’t had any problems even with it being suppressed. But buyer should beware that I took a chance to see if it worked. I called the company and they said make sure to match the diameter but my barrels was a little larger in diameter (.001) so it took a little massaging to get it installed.

This gas block is as close as you can get to the adjustable gas blocks on production rifles. No set screw for gas adjustment, just dial your click an you're set. But, as mentioned in other reviews, the midlength gas tube that come with the gas block is too short for DPMS pattern AR10s. I assembled my blaster from Aero Precision parts and a Criterion barrel, and the gas tube did not seat in the gas key at appropriate depth, causing the gun to short stroke even with the gas block opened all the way. I ordered and custom cut a straight gas tube, not only to length, because the POF part results in a non-standard tube length, but I also had to make cuts for the cross pin that mates the block to the tube, which is again non-standard. I enjoy tinkering, and even so, I was a bit frustrated with the amount of work I had to do to get the gun to run. Conclusion: Super nice part that, at the time of this writing, was not offered similarly by any other parts manufacturer, that takes quite a bit of work to get to function.
