straight drop-in upgrade for stag model 8
Possibly the first and best upgrade you should make to your stag model 8 piston AR. Smooths out bolt movement and removes wear on upper keyway common with piston uppers. Remove BCG, remove firing pin, remove drop out old cam, drop in this one, replace firing pin, re assemble, done. No tools required.

Excellent addition
I purchased to replace the standard cam pin with my Adams Arms piston upper. I think this is probably most beneficial as an addition to pistons, but it looks like they also have kit for DI guns. Reduces the gouging you get with the square head type that is especially common and more pronounced with pistons. Also because of the coatings it requires less lube to run smoothly. For $25 its a nice addition to your gun, but I'd honestly give it 5 stars if it were priced around $15.

Piston gun must have!
I use this in all my ar pattern rifles.. It tends to smooth out the charging action and eliminates the scraping found on the inside of the upper receiver on piston guns. Maybe it's in my head but I think it also quiets the mechanical noise when firing the weapon.
