The helmet is excellent and was in new condition. Unlike many surplus helmets it's in a useable size---the chinstrap is plenty roomy and has a nice quick release feature. I'm not sure if it's a pro or a con, but as you can see in the picture, the face shield is not as long as some. The pro aspect may be that it's less prone to fogging up and slightly easier to breathe, the con would be it doesn't really protect the upper throat at all. Amazing Helmet!

While I don't intend to look for a reason to test this helmet out, I will say that this sucker is VERY well made. Very sturdy and seems to be extremely durable! Came with the instruction manual written in Russian, as well as an internatiinal import/export advisory. So, needless to say, this is Russian-made gear. The fit is adjustable, so it should fit most people. Feels and fits like a football helmet, which is a great thing!

Riot helmet

I purchased 2 helmets and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality! Easy to assemble the visor with a screwdriver � directions included! The helmets are brand new condition! These helmets are not bullet proof! They are for riot control and are durable against hard contact from leftist AntiAmerican protesters!

Light weight, great fit, delivered quickly, priced perfect.
Visor assembly took less than 5 minutes. The neck protector (cape) is removable.

There is nothing more to say about this helmet. Why haven't you purchased yours yet?
