I have many other flat top AR’s with more optic options. But for my old A2 rifles, I really like this gooseneck mount. There aren’t many options for the older carry handle A2 uppers. According to other reviews, this won’t fit all handles, or detachable handles. Works well on my Pre ban Colt A2 Sporter HBAR, and Rock River A2 HBAR clone rifles. Not perfect. But easy to mount, and zero. Pretty secure. I can absolute co witness with peep and front post Irons. Running a Holosun HE510C Green 2MOA Reflex site with a low QD mount. Unlimited eye relief, no parallax, and large field of view. (Somewhat blocked with rear peep) Works well with my astigmatism.
