I tried to match this to an Aero Precision AR-10 upper. The rail is lower than the upper by .062". The alignment to the receiver on the sides was poor at best. If you have an Aero Precision upper this is not the item to order.

Buy a goodone

First of all, for the price, the overall quality is decent
But I wouldn’t recommend.
I spent over an hour trying to get the barrel nut timed
I took it off and back on multiple times using different combinations of the supplied shims to no avail
Of course putting it on and taking it off so many times, I marred it up to much to send back
I will be ordering a name brand and just chalk this up as a learning experience
You get what you pay for

best clearance buy ever

I don't know if this item will be available again but I'm definitely glad I got it when I did. everything went on my m&p 10 perfectly fine, ironically the hardest part of the swap was removing my factory barrel nut! (ever seen a 300 lb Samoan dude hanging off the end of a breaker bar?) anyways the fit and finish on mine was top notch, and probably the best parts are the rifles now lighter and much easier to manage, the tube is perfectly sized, big enough that a low profile gas block has a solid 1/4 inch (maybe even 3/8) clearance all around it but slim enough even my little hands can make a beautiful C clamp around it. truly an awesome series of win-win-win and light years better than the quad rail I had. magazine dumps don't feel like drag racing a Harley Davidson anymore (literally just holding on for dear life!).

Seems legit

Don’t know what these other people were doing when clocking it, this is the first hand guard and barrel nut I’ve ever installed and I figured it out within 5-10 mins. Seems like it’s good, it’s definitely aluminum and MLOK don’t know what else you could ask for. I forgot if the barrel nut is aluminum or steel but it’s tight and shimmed and clocked right. Great cheap product I’d have to say.
