I have not had the chance to run this optic through any testing, but it is built well. The materials feel sturdy and I am excited to see how it holds up.

Horrible halo/glare
Tried both the GLx and SLx versions of these and they have horrible halo ring. You also get it around the red dot when turned up only like half way. Not sure why PA would put their name on this.
Nice feature set at a great price
PA red dots are always feature packed, though in the past I've always ended up trading them away. The GLX is one that will stay in my collection. the push buttons on the side are low profile and do not block vision like older knob style illumination dials did. The low mount provided cowitnesses very well with the arisaka low magnifier mount on AK and other similarly high rail platforms. big window, clear glass, crisp reticle. I opted of the CQB reticle as running this with a 5x or 6x mag will allow easier use of the bdc drops. The solar panel does not operate like holosun optics (where it would have an auto brightness setting) so it is there strictly for low/dead battery use. PA knocked this one out of the park and Optics planet made it an easy choice with a good price and active coupons.

good red dot
It’s a good red dot compared to others on the market. It’s mid priced and has many features such as 3 different retitles, up and down button for brightness, and reserves battery life with solar power
