Middle of the road - Primary Machine Glock 9mm Stealth Compensator

Good looking and lightweight but only a middle of the road effective compensator for Glock 17 slide (Reduces muzzle rise and some recoil). Actually about 75% as effective as compared to a Lone Wolf compensator/ muzzle brake (code: 59-BCM-UASG14-LWD-COMP) which is $25.00 cheaper. The PM comp requires semi- permanent installation (red Loctite), but it is initially more reliable with standard recoil spring. The Lone Wolf comp requires a lot more tuning (lighter recoil spring, hotter ammo and polishing of both barrel lockup surfaces and barrel ramp) as the side ports are angled backwards and apparently bleeds off significantly more gasses and reduces recoil more than the PM style of comp. Hotter ammo makes the gun shoot flatter and improves the reliability (FTF and stove pipe occurrences) but also increases the felt recoil. Also, I was able to use BSI Un-Clure debonder instead of heat in order to remove the PM comp as my front suppressor sight had loosened. For EDC and self defense use, I would not recommend a compensator on a 9MM hand gun due to reliability issues.
