Great buffer
Built a 20" rifle with a carbine receiver extension with my daughters (9 & 12). Build went together great, but it was a touch over-gassed. Threw empty brass more than 20'. Saw some signs of tearing at the rim of the cases. Swapped in the Primary Weapon Systems H3 buffer, and things are MUCH better. ...

Received a defective product
The big issue is that the roll pin is not installed on the buffer and it is 5 oz vs suppose it should be 5.4 oz. There is no PWS(Primary Weapons Systems)logo or symbol and no "mod2" shows on this product.
pws enhanced carbine recoil buffer mod2
A little pricey but looks good and had my over gassed rifle ejecting around 3oclock with a extra power buffer spring as well

Slick finish.
The PWS buffer seems very well made just like all of their products that I own. The finish is slick and nice looking although its not like I will see it very often.
Pros:
- nicely made.
- Slick finish.
Cons:
- None

5.1 oz in subsonic 300 AAC rifle length with suppressor
Was having all kinds of extraction and feed issues with multiple brands of ammunition, types of magazines and bullet weights. I read every discussion board out there. I finally started reading reviews for different components.
This fixed it immediately. The gun cycles smoothly, rounds fly out and the next round slams in without issue.
You can go cheaper...but its worth the $10-$15 more for smooth running suppressed 300 BLK AAC

Helped reduce blowback, but not eliminated
Utilizing this recoil buffer and a new heavy-duty buffer spring helped to reduce blowback. Unfortunately, it did not eliminate the ammonia fumes. Not only do ammonia fumes make my eyes water, interfering with shooting, they are also toxic.

PWS H2 Buffer
Fit and finish is exceptional. Weight is as discribed. Just as I would expect from any PWS product. The "head" of the buffer, if you will, is shaped much differently than most. With instead of flats, has 3 undercuts and 3 kind of nubs. Very different and hard to describe but seems to ride exceptionally smooth. Pairs very well with a Sprinco spring.

.300 Blackout Build#20
Great product over all. PWS put out some of the best stuff on the market for AR-15 and much more. This is my second AR-15 build using PWS. I have there buff tube also. Its very high quality. At this time I'm not done with this build completely but using PWS in the past is and cycling this buffer in other AR-15 its a must have.
Pros:
- Very high quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- AR-15

Enhanced Buffer that is worth every penny
Just from pulling this thing out of the packaging I knew I would be happy with this buffer. The fit and finish is everything you'd expect from PWS, this thing looks like a part out of a serious machine. The fluting is a nice touch and the finish is slick. You won't ever have to worry about this thing breaking or wearing out either. The most important thing is that my rifles function perfectly. I picked up the H2 since that's what PWS recommends for most of their uppers. From the MK107 to the MK114, they all function great suppressed or suppressed. Be sure to pick up a Sprinco White Spring and your rifle will run longer than you will!
Pros:
- Quality fit and finish, durability
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Law enforcement and personal defense against tyrants and criminals (one in the same really)

Very nice buffer.
I'm building a 556 pistol. I wanted an H2 buffer for it. I was looking at a few and came across this one. It's in the general area of money for a quality buffer. What got me was the flutes cut into it. I just received it today and installed it right away. I used the spike's ST-T2 on my 300blk pistol build (very nice buffer) but this buffer just looks awesome. I ordered a JP Enterprises tuned and polished spring along with it. I can't wait to shoot this pistol.
Pros:
- looks, price
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- AR15

Innovative Design
This is a high quality buffer with a great finish. The staked roll pin and the steel body make the old aluminum design obsolete. Fluting will reduce friction and keep it moving if dirt or water gets in the stock. Highly recommended.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- None
