Good for metal mags only

Being made by Pro Mag you would think it would work with pro mag polymer magazines. Not so. Works great for metal magazines.

It is not clearly stated and I should have done my research better, these are ONLY designed for the standard 30rd military steel/aluminum mags, they will not work with anything else. They also do not have a positive clamp to the mag and requires tape or shims to keep from sliding during firing, or even manipulating the mags in a pouch

223 Mag clamp

I bought 4 of these mag clamp sets. The clamps work very well holding my mags firmly together. Makes mag changes very quick. I am using 30 round mags, but these clamps would easily handle 40 round mags.
