Most Helpful Positive Review Proof 6mm arc
It kinda started off a little bumpy as the first barrel I received was a open box...even though it appeared unused I scoped it and found some gouges in the barrel and returned with my complaint. OP quickly sent another and it was new in the box. I am a stickler for new expenses toys coming sealed in the original packaging. I am happy with the replacement and you really can't go wrong with a Proof barrel. They require a short break in period but are worth it for their excellent precision.

Great barrel for the money. Built this for a coyote and pig gun and as always proof research shows why they are such a great barrel manufacturer. Out of the box shooting 80 grain eld vt im getting sub moa groups at 100 and 200 yards.

6arc 16" stainless proof barrel.

Rebarreled a cmmg resolute upper that always shot poorly. Was confident in my build but always shot terribly with factory barrel. Threw this proof on and .5" groups at 100 yards are the new normal. Now it shoots the way it should. Way to go PROOF!!!!

Excellent Quality Barrel

I have read that Hornady used Research Proof barrels when testing the 6mm Arc and I believe it. I am a fan of the 6mm Arc and own multiple rifles chambered in the round. I have used it extensively in hunting and at the range. My Research Proof barrel is easily the most accurate Arc barrel I own, often shooting half MOA. The quality is apparent both in the aesthetics and the performance. I paired the barrel with a JP Enterprises BCG and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend it.

  • Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.

  • Target & Competition Shooting
