Amazing Watch at a Great Price
I'm not much of a watch guy, never have been. However, I gave this ProTek watch a shot, and I couldn't be more happy! This watch looks and feels like it should be 3x the price. I almost don't want to wear it sometimes, because I feel like it's too nice. The Tritium accents are a great addition. Overall, very happy!

Great piece at a great price
Got the blue dial. Looks far more expensive than the actual cost. The hour markers are stunning in low light. This one is now stop my daily rotation.

Fails to illuminate
Watch fails to illuminate whatsoever. The whole reason I purchased this watch is because of the tritium illumination. All the capillary tubes to be intact, but it simply does not illuminate as built. I’m returning the watch.
Defective Watch Delivered
The watch that was delivered was free of surface blemishes however it was not functional, that is, it did not tell time, the hands did not move. I cannot recommend this product because the quality control on it is so low as to deliver a nonworking watch one could not be confident that more subtle defects were not present as well. Optics Planet readily provided a Return Merchandise Authorization upon request.

For the money it’s absolutely BRILLIANT!
I had been looking at Luminox models but ended up feeling there wasn’t as much bang for the buck. The Titanium Protek field watch, though, seemed to be a much better deal. I swapped out the included leather band for a two-piece FKM. This thing is obscenely light now. What’s so great about the Tritium markers that they’re not too too bright in the dark. Rather, they’re perfect. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this excellent watch. And, no, it doesn’t need to be automatic as some one-star loser said in the comments. I choose a quartz when I don’t have time to set the correct time. Again, this is a brilliant field watch!

Everything I hoped for, and then some
I wanted a watch I could read at night in bed. I can read this all night long.
Glows bright, easy to orient, nice and clear hands.
I wear this while working, very tough.
I bought the ceramic band too, as leather bands don't last me but a couple months.
Not this one. The waterproof leather really works. The leather band is a few months old now
and is still looking and working like new.

simple and bright
I bought this watch for sleeping - I wanted a comfortable watch I could read at night and without my glasses. The titanium case is light and well finished. The size is perfect for me with a 7.25” wrist. The leather strap is a bit beefy and will need to break in a bit to be really comfortable. I think the biggest disappointment is the lack of a screw-down crown. There are many watches rated at 100 meters of water resistance without a screw down crown but I expected this watch to have this feature - especially considering the upscale titanium case and sapphire crystal.

Protek 3000 series field watch
Honestly love this watch. It’s exactly what I was looking for: the right size. Simple classic styling with added bonus of 100m water resistance and let’s not forget the t100 tritium display is actually significantly brighter than most LUMINOX. The colored tritiim tubes are on point and give a 3d effect in total darkness reflected off the sapphire lense. Perfect watch at this price point!
