Not what I was hoping for
I was very disappointed with this optic. I knew I was getting a Gen 1 and saw a youtube review that didn't look bad considering; however, I tried 2 different spectrum IR flashlights and the quality left a lot to be desired. If it's not a matter of life and death, and you do not need a NV optic immediately, I would save for a Gen 2+ or Gen 3.

Great Value
I highly recommend this night vision monocular as an awesome starting point for those interested in NV technology. At a relatively low cost, they provide the customer with excellent value for money. This model will be more than enough to suit the needs of a person who is new to the NV field.
Pros: cheap price, great night vision technology
Cons: hard to obtain, not for everyon, must be treated with respect to ensure lens is not damaged.
