Arrived quickly and as described, lightweight, and tight tolerances

These upper receivers are pretty awesome. They have channels for gas cut in, and they machine a pin locking system that fits into both the upper and handguard. Very secure. I would feel confident about this rail holding zero for a laser system. For a fully cerakoted, high-end upper/handguard combo, this is a great deal. Charging handle is just icing on the cake.

Flawless machining from an incredible firearms company. All of their stuff is amazing. Their products are the epitome of quality, craftsmanship and design. The price of admission for this upper/handguard set is definitely worth it if you can get your hands on one. Good luck finding the matching lower receiver to pair this with.

The fit and finish is incredible. It is actually very light weight! Looks great with a radian lower. The value is quite good when you consider the radian raptor SD included. They are impossible to come by and there is a huge back order.

Yes this is expensive, but there is a reason there is such a long wait to get your hands on it. I was lucky to already have a Radian lower so it was a no-brainer. The only down side i can see is that it is on the heavier side but that is due to being built like a tank. If its in your budget dont hesitate to but one, you will not be disappointed.

I used this Radian upper + handguard set to complete the Radian lower I had. I originally planned to go another route with the upper, but glad I got the matching upper as it all flows seamlessly together. The attention to detail that Radian puts into its products is the standard every company should follow. Also, it may seem pricey at first, but with what is included in the set, this option is very affordable to those that want a quality product, especially being made from billet.

I ordered the 15.5" upper/handguard set for my new 3-gun build after shooting a friend's Radian Model 1, which I really enjoyed. I already own a Radian ADAC lower which perfectly matches up with this set. I also tried matching to my BCM and Aero M4E1 lowers and they also fit well, not as tight as Radian's lower but still matched up well enough to shoot a few rounds with.
I would put the build quality and feel of this handguard on par with my Geissele MK18 handguard; lightweight, smooth cerakote finish. For me, it easily beats out my BCM MCMR and my Aero handguards both of which are lightweight and have a good cerakote but just don't feel as solid or durable.
The upper came pre-installed with Radian's forward assist (don't really notice a difference between this and a regular mil-spec one but it does look cooler), a Raptor-SD charging handle (I plan on running this suppressed occasionally so this is a plus), and just a normal dust cover (it works).
Overall, if you're looking for a nice, premium, billet upper and handguard set that will match up to most mil-spec lower receivers, its really hard to find a better one than this. Or if you're like me and want a Radian Model 1 but already have their lower, this set will complete your Model 1 clone.

I wanted the most durable upper/handguard that also improved upon a standard upper receiver; a receiver that was a little more beefy in all the right places. At first I looked at the VLTOR MUR upper, but when I stumbled across this masterpiece, I knew I had to try it out. What really excited me about this combo is that the handguard (not just the barrel nut) is constructed from 7075 series alloy. You won't find that in the product description, I had to ask someone in the live chat feature on Radian's website. Sure enough, it is, that was the deal maker for me. The incredible lock up of the handguard to receiver ensures that your head will rattle off your shoulders before this duo ever thinks of separating, shifting, or otherwise embarrassing yourself. Despite being made of 7075 aluminum, it's still exceptionally lite. I have the 10" model and paired with a lightweight Spikes Tactical 11.5" barrel this really handles well and feels right...until you plop that suppressor on that is! Most importantly this upper looks incredible, and that's all that matters gentlemen!

Not sure if this matches up with a mil-spec upper, as in the machining lines are not mil-spec. If, however, you own a radian lower then this is a perfect match. Fits tight in both my mils-spec lower and the radian lower. Some reviews have stated the model one rifles are a bit heavy, it certainly isnt the rail. The upper does have a bit more material, but its right at the weakest point of the ar upper. Would recommend to anyone looking to complete their radian, quality is outstanding.
