Bought this for a build project. While I was originally looking to build a .450 Bushmaster from components because I was looking for a specific profile, this was the perfect fit for my requirements, and at a very reasonable price. Finished product looks very nice.

So I got this upper and it’s looks great but that’s is where it ends. Won’t feed from Duramag or acs mag. Will only feed if one round is in magazine so not sure if it’s a magazine problem so down the rabbit hole I’ll go and see if I can figure this out

Just finished assembling the rifle. Gave it just a quick test fire off the deck. It fed, fired and ejected which is a good start. I had to use a standard 20 round 223 mag because for reasons I'm still waiting to find my upper did not have the 450 mag in the package. As for accuracy, I'm waiting for the weather to clear before I can comment on that.

It’s a good quality upper, the fit and finish were excellent and it was a great price! I mated it with a Spikes lower. I topped it with a Vortex scope and few other accessories. I have it dialed in and now I am looking forward to a future hog hunt.

What a great upper. I put it on a spike’s lower I put together and it worked without a hitch. Shooting 1.5” 5shot groups @ 100 yds. Very happy with how this upper cycling is smooth and accurate. I only have a hundred rounds through it now. Looking forwards to see how it goes with more use.

I have received 4 of these uppers. One had a rusty gas block & one did not cycle & I will have to drill out the gas tube port. I have not checked the others yet. Not terribly impressed with the quality control for Radical. Hopefully they will get their stuff together & get these issues addressed.

I shot 2 boxes and it never ejected 1 shell. Sent it back and went with a different brand. Took a full 20 days to get and then it didn’t even work . I almost missed my hunting season waiting for this and then it not working and waiting for a new one to arrive. Everything else on it seemed good it fit on correctly and was tight it didn’t have any slip in it

My 3rd Radical Firearms upper. So far so good. BCG is a bit tight but should break in in a few more boxes of ammo. This IS a round you want to reload since finding factory ammo is kind of hit and miss. Recoil is pretty much a lot less than I was expecting. Read in most places that the .450 Bushmaster is like shooting a 20 ga. It feels a little more than a .300blk than a 20 ga. Brake isn't obnoxiously loud. Fit right on the lower without a problem. 1st box of ammo couldn't test the feeding from the mag since I had to single load it (range rules). Did have it short stroke a couple times and close instead of locking back. Something that should clear up after another box or two.

The handguard I'm not to crazy about. Has a metal mesh "feel" to it. Also the rail on the handguard where it meets the upper is a little fatter than the upper's rail and wouldn't let me slide the scope mount over it from the back. Had to slide it on from the front.
