Most Helpful Positive Review Turn front screw in to lower gas flow not out!
I think some people don't understand how to properly turn the Allen keyed screws to lower gas flow. I'd recommend installing your gas tube into block first, turn set screw on side all the way out, to allow adjustment screw to turn in without binding. Turn front adjustment screw all the way in and bl...

Most Helpful Negative Review Doesn’t do anything special for .308
I recently put this on my Aero Percision AR-10 in .308 hoping this would allow me to tune the gas system and make the rifle a little easier when it comes to cycling. After putting it on I noticed that even with the adjustment screw backed all the way out, literally out of the gas block itself, the r...

The price is right and it worked fine

I installed is on a severely over gassed AR 15 pistol with a 7.5" bbl, shooting 5,56 62 gr green points. The ejection was almost @ 1;00 (straight out)and the gun kicked like a mule. Installed this block with locktite, backed the lock screw out, closed the adjustment screw, then backed it out 1/4 turn loaded a mag with 1 round, no ejection backed it out another 1/4 turn bang got ejection but at 6:00 almost straight back another 1/4 turn got 4;30 I want this hog to eject at 3;00 another 1/4 turn got me @ 3;00 perfect, and as a bonus reduced the recoil by 1/2 on this hand cannon. So with 5 rounds the gas block came thru. I tried to tame this gun with heavy buffers and stiff recoil springs so stiff I could barely charge the darn gun. Went to a Spikes flat spring much more pleasant to charge and shoot. Yep this block tamed this cannon of a gun. Getting ready to order another one for my 7.62 x 39 10.5" bbl hand cannon.
Pros:
  • Price
  • reliability
Cons:
  • None for me
Best Used for:
  • taming over gassing and recoil

Doesn’t do anything special for .308

by Jake, from TX, United States Written on March 1, 2019
I recently put this on my Aero Percision AR-10 in .308 hoping this would allow me to tune the gas system and make the rifle a little easier when it comes to cycling. After putting it on I noticed that even with the adjustment screw backed all the way out, literally out of the gas block itself, the rifle was still kicking brass out of the side. With this screw out the rifle should’ve essentially been turned into a single shot until the adjustments were made. The gas block itself will cycle the gun just fine but it doesn’t offer any tuning like advertised. You would be better offer with a standard gas block or upgrading to something like an Odin works or Superlative gas block. This may work better on a .223 but I can’t be sure. For a 308 I would not recommend.

Great adjustable gas block at a low price on O.P.

by JS, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 28, 2019
I searched online for a micro adjustable gas block for my ar pistol and was amazed at how expensive most are. I found the Radical Firearms .750 adjustable gas block the cheapest on Optics Planet so I searched the reviews online & found mixed reviews. I figured at the price I'd take a gamble and ordered 2 of them. Mine came in the mail quickly in a plain unpadded plastic mailing bag. No directions but Google will get you there. Installed one very simply in less than an hour, including disassembling & reassembly of the flash hider and free float tube, old gas block etc. Mine fit nice and snug by hand, no barrel fitment issues at all. Gas tube and roll pin went in without issue. Locking and adjustment set screws were threaded fine on mine. I can reach both adjustment and set screws thru my m-lok handguard slots. Side silver screw is set/lock screw and front larger one is the adjustment screw. You can adjust the flow nice and low. Happy with my purchase and highly recommend you buy one. They must have worked out any past issues others have had.
Pros:
  • quality fit and finish, price , micro size
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Fine tuning overgassed pistols or rifles

Radical Firearms RF Micro Adjustable Gas Block .750

by AnaManuela, from AZ, United States Written on February 13, 2019
When I received my Radical Firearms RF Micro Adjustable Gas Block .750 was just in poor quality, gas block set screw holes are work cross-threaded and will not adjust or screw in to tighten. Just don't wanna go though the trouble trying to send it back and paying for shipping, so I'm writing this to let others know not to purchase this gas block thinking their great deal on this product which they are not.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Poor quality control of product.
Best Used for:
  • paper weight
