I was having problems with 5.56/.223 reloads seating in my new rifle which has a chrome 20 inch barrel. Long story - short. My regular RCBS sizing die wasn't shaping the brass shoulder critically enough and prevented the cartridge from seating. A cartridge gauge check confirmed the problem. I tried my shooting buddy's die and had the same problem. I ordered the RCBS Competition Die Set and resized my brass. "Voila", no more problems. I guess my new rifle is just a bit tighter and needs a more critical die. Since then, I have purchased only competition dies. OpticsPlanet accepted the return without question.
