1911 smart wrench
what a great wrench no lost parts any more. if you have not got one you are missing on a great wrench for pulling a 1911 gov a part .i have lost the spring holder once it hit the work shop roof never to be found again.
good tool dont buy it!
It’s a nice tool nothing wrong with it tbh. But it’s a gimmick. You don’t need it for 90% of 1911’s you can just use your fingers to disassemble the gun. Save the $15 and just YouTube a few videos of 1911 maintenance

Greatest thing since John Browning
This thing is a must, especially if you have a 1911 with a threaded barrel. No more launching springs and end caps into orbit. Wish i would've bought it sooner since it is cheaper than the replacement parts when it happens. And it will happen.

Nice tool for 1911
This is a very nice smart wrench for 1911, especially you can put the tool on the table and point the 1911's muzzle down to the table to remove the recoil spring cap. It is very usable while needing to change the recoil spring in the range, I don't need to point the muzzle to left or right, which all have people standing next to me. Pointing it down to the range table is a very good idea.
One issue I have is to put the recoil spring cap back, I need to put it in and use the barrel bushing to lock it before using the tool. If the tool has a small portion that will allow pushing the recoil spring cap in (on the table) with the tool then using the barrel busing to lock it, it will be easier to do the field assembly.

Smart Wrench Works Great
Works as advertised - makes it easy to remove the barrel bushing, and prevents the spring and plug from flying off the barrel, while fitting comfortably in your hand. Priced right for a tool that makes the job easier.
