Super nice! fits the gun really well. has holes on the bottom for the vice pins so you don’t lose them.

Doesn't hold tightly
Had to use a 2' cheater pipe on my breaker bar to remove a barrel nut all that force and this thing didn't even Mar or disform in any way it is strong! Very Useful Tool
The tools design is very inventive. The pins allow mounting into a vise at any angle, and the lock bloc holds your AR upper securely letting you to work on muzzle devices or barrel nuts without damaging the upper. The pins and block store nicely in the tool. highly recomend this tool from REAL AVID.

Real Avid Upper Vice Block
Beats the heck out of trying to clamp the upper in a vice. Had the barrel clamped in some rubber vice jaws and didn’t notice it started slipping and almost took out the gas tube. Bought this and had the hub compatible muzzle brake and adjustable gas block removed and mounted without a problem. Picked up the AR10 and the AR15.

near perfect product
I used this upper receiver vise mount and it functioned as it should. No complaints! Great construction. Quality materials. Easy to use. Its all aluminum construction seems to be sturdy enough for any torque that you'd apply to an upper. Only gave it 4 stars due to slight slop where it holds by the chamber but it caused no issue and seems to me that it's not enough to cause any in the foreseeable future.

Will not work on 300 blackout Sig MCX
It is great for an AR15 but doesn’t match the splines on the barrel of a Sig MCX, with a dermal and small diameter stone I was able to modify the lugs so it would work on a Sig MCX, pain in the butt,

REAL AVID lug lock upper vise block
After extensive research reading previous reviews, I decided to go with the REAL AVID LUG-LOCK upper vise block. It has performed flawlessly just as promised. It worked as good as it looks. I especially like the vise pins. Couldn’t be happier with this product.

very useful tool
I was a bit hesitant on buying this tool because of the price but I'm glad I did. I can't imagine trying to install a barrel without this tool. The lug-lok is a well made piece of cnc aluminum that fits perfectly inside the upper and barrel. Once clamped into the vise it makes working on the upper receiver a breeze especially when torquing down the barrel.
