Definitely Easier
I should have bought this tool or something similar a long time ago! If you clean your mags or are going to change base plates this tool will make disassembling a magazine so much easier. I’d recommend this tool but it’s the only tool like it that I’ve used. Optics planet was on point as usual.

I ordered this tool after breaking my "bottle opener" style Glock magazine tool. It works better than advertised. It even works taking apart PSA mags.

I have some Sig. and H & K magazines that also have the center hole in the base. Well made tool. I love the real avid line. They are sturdy and look good.
