When a firearm is installed the cycling has issues and jams every couple rounds, tried 10 different magazines, tried another slide w/o their charge handle installed (their charge handle is wide and rubs one side of the brace's frame, which isn't good eother), and the 2nd slide had same issues and was not rubbing. Tried another gun-- same issue. Tried the same guns without the brace-- no problems. To correct the jams l learned all I had to do was smack the bottom of the gun to jolt the action to continue. Device makes for unreliable feeding which is NOT GOOD. Reached out to manufacturer, sent tons of details and pics. Their response-- "Our kits are designed with very tight tolerances for a secure fit, which means they sometimes require a brief break-in period to settle properly. In some cases, a small modification might be needed to ensure it is fully compatible with your setup." Ok, I expect 300 rounds to be much more than a brief break in period, and I don't recall the manual stating that modifications might be needed-- usually they don't like you tweaking their products to maintain warranty. I decided not to order any more from them as they should have offered to replace or correct the issue. If I wanted to work on it myself I'd just have 3D printed one. Unfortunately not sure why, this was a final sale so I'm stuck with it. Just a range toy -- novelty junk now.

I've lightened and braced and folded ar's and pcc's trying to find a bag gun that didn't require a dedicated gun bag. I don't know why I didn't try these pistol chassis before, but the deployability and shoot ability is there. Nothing else compares to how compact and light the end result is. I have a light, optic, and spare mag on board. I like a 27 round in the pistol and a 21 in the spare holder. I can leave my suppressor mounted and be more compact than most alternatives. A no brainer for me.
Pros:
- Light, compact, sturdy, inexpensive
Cons:
- Individual components are more than necessary

Purchased primarily for a Glock 35 but may use for other firearms. Item came with the necessary tools for quick and easy installation. Product seems very stable and secure. Should improve accuracy when target shooting.

Purchase this for a Glock g17l as well as it works pretty good for the PSA dagger.. just like my complaint with the 20/21 my only issue is little blade sticking up at back of brace cuts face if not sandpaper or Dremel down. X Variant they are currently coming out with should have been the original design and looking forward to that edition

The most uncomfortable thing I have ever shot with. I saw it was cheap, I should have stayed away from it. The feel is bad, the quality is worse. I learned my lesson, stay away from this product if you value your sanity.

so this whole this is plastic, the hinges are plastic pins, there are 3 different size allen screws which tactically is a horrible design, the unit bends at the brace so shooting has a slight bounce effect if you do the motions of reloading or racking the firearm you'll notice it, the whole thing is held by 1 Allen screw which doesn't thread more the 4 turns before its tights so that again is a dangerous tactical design being it will take 4 maybe 5 rotations until your gun is loose in the plastic chassis, the charging handle is held on by the stock serrations and are mm in size, so stressful firing of the gun will make these wear down then the charging handle will fly into your face leaving a nice scar. All of the allen screws are made of very cheap material and strip and warp easily. If your thinking about this being your pdw or if your not financially successful then purchasing this in thought of "I can afford this" don't. You'll have hospital bills or even worse attempting to defend your home with this thing. I Do not support this cheaply made product and think it's a big cash grab because all of the pieces are terribly designed. Yes I know who designed this and no he's not someone who's well respected or intelligent. He made 1 fair firearm and people think he's a great. He's a con and this brace is proof. People who have these and "LIKE" them or "would use as a pdw" strictly do not have acess to higher end products such as building an ar9 with other then psa trash.
Cons:
- Owning a rec 20/20 is embarrassing

The reason for the title is because recover could have made the product with better quality and also costed less to buyers. The edges were sharp and i needed to buff it with some fine grit sandpaper not that this will bother everyone but just a minor peeve. The charging handle grooves did not line up no matter how i inserted it. If this was targeted at airsoft market, I'd be more understanding but its main target is the real steel customers. For the record im using this with my Umarex G17 which is a 1:1 replica airgun and should not have any fitment issues. There's also a small gap near the rear when when my airsoft in enclosed in it. Its not a deal breaker and its not visible from the top, but it does peeve me to some extent. It might very well be because im using an airsoft and not the real steel.
I bought the base kit without the magazine grip and my kit cane with hex keys and bolts that have absolutely no use to me and my item. And the one hex i needed was not included with the hardware. Made absolutely no sense to me. They could have just limited the hardware to just one hex key needed instead of added cost for extra parts that i dont have yet, and probably will not even be able to find these hardware when i do get the add-ons later. They should just include the hardware with those parts that need them instead of including them in the base kit.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Affordable
Cons:
- extra hardware that had no use with my kit

Product was good just decided to return. I would buy from this company again in the future. Products are of good quality. Recover tactical has some really good stuff on the market. Stay safe and always defend the 2A
