Simply put this is a quality magnesium bar with a scraper and striker rod along with a small chain to keep the scraper with the mag bar. And paradventueer you lose the scraper a good camp or bush knife will work just fine. I keep one of these in my Hunting, Fishing, and Bush pack. It's like don't leave the trail without it!
