Redfield Rings
These are very strong steel rings, not some cheap alloy. They work great on my MKII 30-06.
Pros: Cheaper than the rest and just as good
Cons: None noticed yet

These rings are a waste of time and money
These rings are terrible. I got them in the mail today and went out to the rang. I carefully put the rings on my Ruger M77 270. after making adjustments i went to set up my target to dial in my scope. I shot and was way off. I then made some adjustments and shot again. I made a couple turns of the d...

Great Rings!
Redfield has always made great products and this is no exception. Fit and finish were perfect and they were the perfect height for a 50mm scope. I mounted these on a Ruger M77 Hawkeye guide gun with a Vortex Viper PST.

scope rings
I have used redfield rings on my Ruger for years and have had good service from them, so I bought these when I needed a set in 30mm for the same gun. The price was good here at Optics Planet also, especially with their free shipping on my order.

Excellent choice and less expensive than other name brand products for the proprietary application of Ruger mounts. Perfect height for the application. Easy to mount and scope required minimal adjust which reflects in true accuracy of mounts.
I would rate these as 5 out of 5 stars.

They are ok.
These rings will get the job done, but they aren't gonna compare to Ruger factory rings. This is because they do not have he same type of lock up to the receiver. These use two separate pieces to attach to the receiver for each ring. This makes it difficult to get the scope aligned with the barrel accurately. I'm giving them a lower rating because I was expecting true quality from the name RedField. If I didn't have enough money to buy Ruger Factory rings I would get these, but if I had enough to purchase the Ruger I would. Buy once, cry once.
Pros:
- Cost.
Cons:
- Quality

Redfeild ruger rings
These rings are very solid . They went very well on the Ruger action mounts. One thing though, is when I when I began the alignment With the bore site, I had a little some difficulty with the adjustment for left &right? It got a bit confusing on which way to turn them for proper alignment, but everything worked out well. I would recommend these rings to anyone.

redfield ruger 30mm high rings
after mounting a 2.5-15x56 swarovski on a ruger77 with a standard barrel profile in 7mm rem' mag' the scope cleared the barrel by 4.5mm. that was too high for my customer so i used the leupold 30mm super high rings instead. with these rings that big scope still cleared the barrel by 2.5mm. the leupolds are also better quality and the clamp design should be stronger than the redfield design.
Pros: after preliminary mounting scope bore sighted accurately
Cons: weaker clamp design, rough cast appearance, rough finish, too high with a swarovski 2.5-15x56 scope on a standard contour ruger barrel
