What a difference

Let me just say, at first I was skeptical to raising my optic, but thanks to the powers that be and removing my stuck and shooting with a bloody buffer tube, this was an incredible improvement. Raising the optic makes shooting very easy.

Teeny tiny mounting screws

If you've got other screws for mounting your optic, go ahead and use them. The ones provided are quite tiny and they are very easy to strip.

Also, the mount is not even across the top. It's really difficult to notice in the pictures, and the "shelf" that the red dot sits on is wider on one side than the other, and I really don't understand that - unless it's for a particular red dot that I don't own.

I'd recommend this and there is better options out there for the price point. Namely, ADM, or Midwest Industries. Heck, even some stuff off Amazon would compete with this - the downside being they aren't made in the USA like this one says.

Product as advertised. Makes for good mount for my AR pistol 300BO. Mounted with Holosun red dot works nice. Wanted something sturdy and a nice height for check and eye. I did not care too much about co-witness with iron sights. If red dot fails simple what to be able to pull the mount and optic off easily, this mount does the trick.

Love this mount. Works great for people who have a neck that is longer than their shoulders lol. Lightweight and looks clean on my rig. It took a few magazines to get used to it. Well worth the money.

Perfect mount for anyone running prescription glasses!

I have this on a Vortex Spitfire x5 gen2 and its the perfect mount for someone with glasses. Instead of a traditional "check weld", you end up with a "jaw weld". It does take some getting used to, but I'm no longer bumping/moving my glasses when looking down the sight, especially with optics that have an unforgiving eye box and relief (any prism scope). Transition to top mounted red dot is equally as easy.

An added benefit is this allows for a much easier time when passive aiming using night vision.

Total weight on the mount is about 2oz - which is acceptable, even if not the lightest in this footprint/height.

What more can you say about Reptilia. Great company with great products. I purchased the 1.93in version and mounted my vortex red dot to be used on my 22LR AR. Quick acquisition on the targets, perfect eye level for my plinker.
